Very cool patina. Can't wait to build this one. -
Wow Bob, you really pulled the stops on this one, I like that bright red and the shine makes it really pop. Of the tri-fives, the 57 has a special place for me. Great detailing goes a long way.

That's a nice factory stock demon. The wheels are really nice and the orange engine contrast well with the body color making it stand out. Very well done.

Awesome job on the GMC. A lot of work went into this. It turned out fantastic. I really like this. -
GM made some interesting cars in the mid 80's. this was one of them. Awesome paint job. Great detail on the engine.

Awesome job on bringing this kit to a much higher standard. The engine bay is absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing this beauty from the past.

You did a superb job on this. It will be interesting to see your progression with each model. You have nailed all the basics, It is so nice to see young people taking in this hobby. Keep up the good work. ?

I really like that kind of build, you did a superb job on the weathering. -
Welcome to the forum Steve.

Very cool indeed.

Great build. I owned a 87 firebird and this body style is my favorite . I upgraded the suspension with the GTA's part and the handling was crazy. I really miss it.

Great work on the Hudson. I like this kind of build as you have to plan differently than a shinny model. You did a good job on the weathering and exposed interior.
-
Great work, it sure looks the part.

Thanks Bart. Thanks DJ. Not a big fan either , a friend of mine sent me a picture of a green bug from Romania, so I sent him back these.? Thanks Garry . All that you see in the photos are models I made in the last few years , including the backgrounds. Thank you Nigel. Thanks Jeff. Looking forward to look at your convertible. Thanks Rich, I do appreciate your kind comments. Tamiya rarely disappoints , I am currently working on their Mercedes 300 SL and it's a real treat to build. Thanks David, the way the kit is designed makes it easier for a shaky hands old chap like me! Thanks Larry. Thank you Mathias for the kind words. Thanks Mike, I owned one in the 70's and I had a lot of fun with it. Boy, do I miss those times. Thanks David. Thanks Rastislav. Thanks Chris.

I just so happened to love this kit and being a big beetle fan, I had to build yet another bug. This kit is a joy to build, having owned one in the late 70's makes it special to me. Paint is Tamiya metallic green coated with TS-13. I still have one to build. The Revell kit is also a beautiful kit, it's only flaw is the wheels and tires which are not quite as good as the Tamiya kit but everything else is really good. as always thanks for stopping by.
