  2. Pretty much. AMT 626 was released in October 2009, so almost exactly ten years ago now. I see an additional colored transparent "glass" piece on the new kit, but everything else, save for the decal sheet and box (and maybe the slicks?) appears to be identical to the '09 issue.
  3. No, not likely at all. Most of the fleet (Ma Bell, Coca-Cola, AT&T, etc.) vans I've seen are the base model with very few options, and redline tires would've cost extra. Looks like the 16 ounce returnable bottles and crates will be pre-finished items, but I am interested to see the soda (pop) machine up close.
  4. "These custom bed, GMC T-16s were photographed in 1936 shortly after delivery to GM's Detroit Branch. The Detroit Branch was a GM corporate sales and service organization located near the GM Building in downtown Detroit during the 1930s and '40s."
  5. Yes, it would be, but much like the Revell Cadillac lowrider, there's so much pent up demand for this kit, it would have no trouble selling as is.
  6. That's exactly what it is. Revell previously released the Glasses Gasser II '62 Corvette kit, which also applied a loose interpretation of the word "gasser" so this isn't a new thing.
  7. Hmmm, I vaguely remember that...I probably found it on Dean's Garage?: http://www.deansgarage.com/ I'll see if I can find it.

  9. You'd be far better off getting your hands on a 1/20 Stahlberg Saab 900, and modifying it as needed: http://www.saab-archive.com/index.php?p=saab-car-models_spezific&table=car&carid=217
  10. Agreed. One of the best from soon after Revell and Monogram were united. Some pics of the original issue here: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/25/25-monogram-93-chevy-pickup Yes, that was the last reissue. They have been pricey on the secondary market for years, and the lowrider and original issue version pictured are the only versions which feature a stock build option-- the Waverider issue cannot be built stock. Yes, eventually. It took 26(?) years or so for the 1/24 Monogram Chevy Stepside 4x4 kit to be reissued, so I hold out some hope for the '93 S-10.
  11. Which still applies today. Honestly, Atlantis probably has no shortage of kits they can reissue with far less up front investment, and which project to be better sellers.
  12. ^This. Or place a Wanted ad here eon the forum if you must have it.
  13. The most recent fixed cured the 404 error I was getting, too, when trying to create a new post on the Car Reviews section.
  14. The 1/25 Revell '57 Ford Sedan Gasser kit seems to have slipped through the cracks, so now it has its own dedicated topic. It was mentioned (hunted at, more accurately) by Tim Boyd here...: ....that this (and it looks like another or a slightly different) variant had been planned, but never released, until now. Here are some images of the completed box stock model, courtesy of the Revell website: Chris/hpiguy has a video review, too:
  15. True, the MCG inserts will probably only fit the RS style grille as is. I guess we'll see if how well or poorly the MCG inserts fit the standard grille once the kit arrives.
  16. I am 99% sure the molds are in Atlantis' possession, and their target market is the lunatic fringe, so much more likely than if (old) Revell possessed them. Granted, they probably have many more kits which require far less upfront investment to chose from, so it's still a slim chance to ever see them again. New tires wouldn't be a huge deal on their own, but no clear parts is possibly a deal breaker...for Atlantis.
  17. Here's a decent look at the contents of the MPC/Ertl era (1986) version from a completed eBay listing. I'm diggin' that A-Team van influenced custom version!:
  18. Yeah, it would not be an easy task to 'remove' the emblem on either grille, but Model Car Garage detail set #2186 would help: Just an FYI, the AMT '70.5 Baldwin-Motion Camaro kit includes the Custom Interior option, which I'm assuming is the same as found in the AMT '70.5 Z/28-RS kit. Real door panel: AMT Baldwin-Motion kit's door panel: The RS letters on the steering wheel emblem would need to be removed, too:
  19. Are you looking for a specific pattern?
  20. Now that the molds have (presumably, assuming one or more still exist) passed on to Atlantis, has anyone contacted Atlantis to find out if they still exist? The Dodge Dart 400 sedan body was significantly modified to create the Revellion, so that's not coming back, but the other five??
  21. Nope. ?‍♂️
  22. I just noticed the Mail Box and Digger trikes include a set if 10"(or so?) deep Motor Wheel Spyder rear wheels. ? I'm sure I could find a new home for the Honda four-cylinder engine, too.
  23. I don't think they replicate any real wheels. Not sure why Ertl thought four spoke wheels would be a good idea, but maybe there's just something about Pro Street '67 Chevelles, as Revell's version has Chevy bowties instead of lug nuts. ?
