Even the Google search method, as the pinned post in the Q&A section details, turned up only one legit hit: Maybe this kit is JUST THAT BAD.

AMT TV Special - 1960 Ford Falcon & Leva Car Double Kit
Casey replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Well, I, uh... My guess is they were never released together as a true double kit, sold as one item. The sell sheet is just vague enough to not provide any clear, definitive information on that front: "Beautiful twin multicolored packaging assures sales on contact" -
Odds & Ends July 2018
Casey replied to regular guy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Kind of surprised the '57 hasn't yet been reissued by Round2. I'm 99% sure it was reissued by RC2 under the Johnny Lightning series, but maybe Round2 is backdating and/or repairing something regarding the mold. -

Identifying parts through sprue numbers
Casey replied to ewetwo's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I usually go to eBay and search using the number and sometimes AMT, MPC, Monogram, etc. Some runners are easier to identify based upon their shape/design, too. Older Revell kits have a square "chimney" style section, and many are tapered toward that end, too. Monogram's almost always have to large tabs at one end for hanging while chrome plating. Sometimes you can I.D. the kit based on which parts remain, or just ask here. There's a huge pool of knowledge to draw from here. I much prefer the 'vertical' box and the '60s style three-version box art:

U S Forest Service decals from 1950-60's
Casey replied to W Humble's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
You'd likely get better results in the Model Trucks section, or maybe a Mod can move it, please? Member Aaronw is probably your best source of info, as he works for the US Dept of Agriculture/Forest Service, IIRC: -
Pretty sure I saw this tractor last Sunday towing a different trailer, as I was heading eastbound on I-90, a few miles west of Sparta. Too slow with the phone camera, but it was pretty cool to see it truckin' down the Interstate.

AMT TV Special - 1960 Ford Falcon & Leva Car Double Kit
Casey replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
It was a serious question. Maybe one of those giant sunburst shaped stickers at each end? -
The compact Tempests has great proportions, smooth and flowing styling, but weren't too busy and over-decorated.I'm partial to the wagon bodystyle, though.

You mail away for the die-cast car after you purchase three SNAP-TITE kits. -
AMT TV Special - 1960 Ford Falcon & Leva Car Double Kit
Casey replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Yes, it was, and it makes sense, as the kit parts themselves don't take up a lot of room. How, if such a double kit existed, would they have been joined or bound together in 1960? -
As James mentioned not too long ago, last month was thin on model kits, and this month is flush with them. Nice to see them leading the video this time, too.

AMT TV Special - 1960 Ford Falcon & Leva Car Double Kit
Casey replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Was AMT shrink wrapping kits in 1960? I *think* I can see a shadow under the Leva Car's short side not present under the Falcon's box, which would lend credence to your theory. The Leva Car box was small and narrow, too, IIRC. -
I agree. I just posted it because the Good Guys Taxi is essentially the '28 Lincoln kit, with a fair number of additional, unique parts added. That said, nothing is off limits when Round2 has active licensing for anything George Barris related.
-
I posit the Phaeton bodystyle is the least popular of all the '32 Fords, and wouldn't expect Round2 to bring one to market any time soon. There are simply too many other choices, and I have my doubts the '32 Victoria, even with the cleaning up of the mold and included extras, sold all that well.

Yes. It will be interesting to see if the raised "Chrysler Outboard" nameplate have been removed and the engine cover is now smooth. That was my thought, too, or at least to the 1/20 MPC '70 AMX...at least it's in the extended Mopar family.

Because of the box? I do recall everything was packed very tightly inside, but I don't recall any A- nor B-pillar damage. If its not because of the box, the recently reissue in the OA series box might be a better choice-- new decals, better tires, etc. Hard to beat that vertical box art for pure nostalgia though.

I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned a few times this boat is close to 1/18 scale, but it's listed as 1/25, so we'll see once someone can measure it in hand.
