Ted, Revell reissued their 1/25 '57 Bel Air Hardtop kit a few years ago, so it's still easy to find: Also, as mentioned elsewhere, the '70-78 MPC Firebird annual kits are long gone, and what remains is the '79 Firebird T/A kit which Round2 reissued within the last two years:

Great idea at a quick, first glance, and even with the understanding that it was an "advanced" technique, exactly how did the designers and engineers at think think would be successfully executed? Lots of near-perfect masking would be required, and that's after you cut the top apart perfectly to match the clear piece's sections.

Magnum 500 wheels, hood, Sport Slats, and a small block 302 engine at the very least. Looking forward to this kit, but will wait to see what the engine looks like before buying one.
-
That is/was the only 6x6 in bi-scale kit form I know of, so I'm guessing the $85 MSRP for the MPC kit is still less than what an original Aurora Banana Buggy would sell for.

Here's what the AMT promo looks like: -

Interesting...I'll wait for someone to part a kit out on eBay, TYVM.

I was just surprised that there will (presumably) be more than one tractor kit released, and the "Series" will not be a one and done type line. I mean, I'm hoping it IS the only tractor we'll see, but perhaps Revell-AG has other plans. IIRC, Round2 did not acquire any of the agriculture related Ertl molds from RC2, so they are ineligible to participate in the "hotness".

Some eBay purchases arrived today. A "junyard" lot, with a few good things in the lot: Also felt like buying a kit, so I did:

I would put good money on both the 1/12 Mean Maverick and Super Digger kits having been scrapped in 1980 or so. Good to see they (mostly) re-used the David Lord drawing for the Iaconio Camaro P/S kit. That was exciting stuff back in '84. So now there's a "Farm Tractor Series" of kits from Revell??

I think the '65 Lincoln Continental convertible is the only one which still exists. It was last reissued by RC2 in 2006, so I would expect the same kit with new decals, tires, and retro box art.

Nice they decided to go with the "flat" hood instead of the shaker hood.

Thanks all for the clarification/info on the Lincoln V-8s and MELs. Tim, the AMT Customizing Boat's engine is what started the wheels turning in my head, but the kit's engine doesn't pass the Lincoln Y-block test, as the center two exhaust ports on each side of the engine aren't siamesed: The AMT Customizing Boat kit's Lincoln Continental style valve covers for reference:

Anyone know a Bill Stillwagon?

Type his name into the search bar here, inside quotation marks, and you'll see more of his work which was shown/shared here previously. -
Everything old... ...is new, again: I can't help but think the new reissue's box lid art would've made Harry smile, too.
-
Art, did you ever dig out these inventories, by chance? I know I'm not the only person who would love to see them.
-
"Produced from the original molds" seems a bit ambiguous, but I guess we'll find out exactly what's included soon enough.
-
No, just a guess, through. Maybe we'll see the Jeep Commando instead...or the IH Scout...or...

Finally got the two posters framed and hung.

I didn't see any replies specifically to Tommy's question, but shouldn't the AMT '58 Edsel Pacer kit(s) have a correct(?) MEL V-8? As Tim mentioned above, the AMT 3 in 1 Customizing Boat kit does include some fairly well done Continental valve covers, but if the Edsel kit's engine it the best starting point for an MEL, that would be good to know.
