  1. That's them, thanks:
  2. Here are the contents of the 1/25 Revell Surfite kit, one of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's vehicles: https://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/1623/1-25-revell-surfite A transversely mounted Auston engine, 10 and 12" tires and wheels, and a funky asymmetrical body designed to carry a surfboard...what's not to like?
  3. The guts are there, but you'll need to do some work for a 100% factory stock model, as Chris mentioned in the opening post. Pics here: https://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/1622/25-revell-custom-cadillac-lowrider Revell seems to have produced a plethora of these in the last production run, as they are still available for $22 + shipping, despite the lack of availability of many other Revell kits.

  5. I want to say this wheels is from an AMT...Impala, maybe? '63? .625" O.D. at the lip, fit the AMT red/bluewall tires, like so: Screenshot from '63 NHRA Nationals with Dave Strickler's '63 Impala using the same(?) wheel up front for the final round:
  6. Has anyone paired the AMT slide-in camper (shown below)) with the AMT '70s annual Ford pickup? I'm curious if and how well they work together.
  7. I think I found the source-- AMT 1925 T. Screenshot from hpiguy/Chris' video:
  8. I could use some help identifying this peaked hot rod style fender. Pretty sure it's 1/25 or 1/24 scale, and the plastic looks '60s era white (looks creamier in the pics) to me.
  9. 1/16 AMT '55 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop 1/16 Revell Big Bad Van 1/16 Revell Camaro IROC-Z 1/8 Monogram Camaro IROC-Z 1/16 Monogram Flatbed Trailer (why this was not reissued when the 1/16 tractors were a few years ago is a mystery)
  10. I think that may have been discussed here before...I'll have to do some digging. It's amazing to me that Ford tooled up special fenders, bed sections, a different length rear driveshaft(?), etc. to create a specialized pickup for use with slide-in campers back then. Great reference pics, Tommy.

  13. Corvair flat six found in the AMT L'il Bo! Weevil kit:
  14. From a completed eBay listing, the Rolling Thunder-specific sleeper parts and an underside shot of a built model:
  15. "Actual retail price of the item..." will be less than $20.95. I think they were around $13-$15 on the street, so $17 or so seems reasonable for 2022.
  16. From the '78 Monogram catalog:
  17. Here's the page from the '87 Monogram catalog touting the "NEW" '79:
  18. Ed Roth's Mysterion (mostly, some additional parts have been added), repackaged as Double Trouble under the Advent brand:
  19. More here, too, including some excellent reference images:
  20. It was mentioned on the revell.de website as a future release, but the website has since been revamped, and not really for the better. Hopefully the transparent "glass" parts are non-tinted this time around for the '79 T/A, too. ?
  21. Matt's Off-Road Recovery...hence the MORRvair name. ? I have watched a handful of episodes mostly the build series for the MORRvair and Banana, but it's always surprising to see how "capable" people's 4x4s really are (or, more accurately, aren't) when they do an actual recovery.
