  1. James is correct, that is DENCON Resin's eBay user ID. Please use the advanced search function (click the little white star/flower thing next to the search box at the top right of every page) to look at other people's experiences with DENCON which they've shared.
  2. That's what I said. You made your experience known, and everyone can read it and use it, as well as other member's comments, to decide if they want to order from Strada Sports. Once someone starts with the personal insults and comments, the topic ceases to be useful to the forum membership as a whole. That type of behavior will never be acceptable here.
  3. Looks like that time is now: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=81149 Is that offset longitudinal front framerail thingy unique to these vans? Maybe because of the twin I-Beam front suspension?
  4. This topic should provide some helpful info to those intersted in ordering from Strada Sports.
  5. I also see very little door top swoop on the passenger's side of the built up model. Is the model in your second pic based on the Revell SnapTite '57?
  6. If the Revell '56 Del Ray is considered a Sedan (and I think it is, since it's no Hardtop nor Convertible), is the roof height correct? Has anyone measured and verified this? Being the only Tri Five sedan kit Revell has released, and based on Dennis' comments regarding the differences between '55-'56s and '57s, the '56 Del Ray sounds like it would be the best kit-based donor for the windshield surround and windshield for a '55-'56 wagon (Nomads not considered wagon for the sake of this discussion, just to be clear). Not sure how accurate AMT's '55 Bel Air Sedan is, though...I would guess most people would prefer to use a newer Revell based kit if possible.
  7. There will never be agreement on how this was done at the factory. There is no proof that chrome or body color is correct in all cases, so using either one is acceptable, unless you are building a replica of one specific car and have proof that car was equipped with one or the other.
  8. Some pics here: http://quartermilers.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=new&thread=3927&page=1
  9. Not sure who made this, but it was a Dean Milano auction, so maybe you could contact him and ask.
  10. Car or truck? This one, maybe?: http://www.rocketfin.com/resin_product.cfm?id=4374
  11. According to the info on the F-series forum I posted the link to and a few other 'sites, the '94 F-150 used the Mazda sourced M50D-R2. The M50D-R1 should be what's included in the AMT Ford Ranger kit, but I can't confirm that, and have no idea how close the -R1 and -R2 are externally. Hopefully that gets Justin closer to finding what he needs.
  12. I was curious, so I Googled and found this: http://www.f150forum.com/f89/5-speed-transmission-190051/ The AMT Ford Ranger kit might be a good place to start, as it has a 5-speed manual trans: Not sure if any of the '90s era AMT, Revell, or Lindberg F-series pickups included manual transmissions, but I bet someone else here does.
  13. Two posts here might be helpful: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79370 One lists the parts number, the other a link to someone who used the Revell '32 Coupe and the RepMinCo Duvall windshield.
  14. I believe Kitchen Table Resins offers that exact engine: http://public.fotki.com/KenK/kitchen_table_resin_kits/ford-bix-6-300-ci-w/
  15. You cannot sell parts, nor can you list prices. You can tell people about what you offer and where they can go or how they can contact you to buy it, though. If you want people to send you a Personal Message (PM) or e-mail you, please edit your post to include that information.
  16. Thanks, guys. Progress has slowed, but this project is still moving forward. I needed to separate the door panels from the inner quarter panels/jump seat surrounds, so I simply scribed through the recess which was already present, and voila': I looked at bunch of different first gen extended cab pictures and noticed the raised area which runs side-to-side at the back of the cab floor. I added that raised area using some rectangular styrene rod, but it ended up being too tall, so I had to removed it, along with the rear wall of the cab. There were two rectangular blocks in each rear corner which weren't supposed to be there, too, so that gave me another reason to remove the entire rear interior wall and replace it with a slightly thicker piece of sheet styrene. Once the new rear wall was in place, I added the new (and hopefully) more accurate raised area on the floor, then started working on the jump seat surrounds. I got the left side roughed in, but the gap between the seat bottom/trim panel and the surround is a bit too big, so that will get some attention. Here's the seat bottom panel sitting loose in the surround: Here's the entire LR corner area: I worked on the bucket seats, too, scribing the areas between the backs and bottoms deeper, and defining the seat shapes a bit more on the thigh and side bolsters. Once the seats were placed in position inside the interior tub, I realized how little of the seat sides can be seen, so I'm not going too much further with them:
  17. They've included four large diameter, lo-pro tires before-- '57 Bel Air, '62 Impala SS, '69 Camaro, etc., and with others ('67 Chevelle SS "Streetburner", '66 El Camino/Wagon, '62 Vette SE) they've included big 'n' bigger tire and wheels sets.
  18. You can add...: '69 = 1969 69' = 69 feet
  19. Sounds good. I was thinking we will need to discuss how the chassis is finished/painted and if there is body color involved in a few areas, we might need to get Billy involved a bit sooner, too, but we still have plenty of time to discuss. Thanks for the update, Andrew.
  20. Correction- their catalog does include some images, but I don't think every item is pictured. Two fotki album containing pics: http://public.fotki.com/crstan/replican-and-miniat/replicas-and-miniat/ http://s814.photobucket.com/user/galantgsx/library/RMCoM?sort=3&page=1
  21. It's not really a show, but more of a swap meet/selling type event. The main show in the Milwaukee area is the Milwaukee NNL in April, so finish a few more and bring 'em then. The AMG (Automotive Modelers Group) usually has a display at the December swap meet at the Waukesha Expo Center, and there are various other small shows in the area (World of Wheels in Feb, too), but the Serb Hall events are more a place to buy. Only a few more days 'til the Serb Hall event.
  22. Not that I'm aware of. You can e-mail them directly at: raurata@yahoo.com
  23. They have nothing online, but a few people have some pics of a few of their offerings, so you'll need to pay for their mail away catalog (which I don't think includes pictures of the items) to have a list of everything they offer.
