Resin Parts suppliers that have closed?
Gary Chastain replied to Oldmopars's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
So true, I wanted some wheels from Scene, but was waiting until I start the kit, now not sure. I had been looking at some trailer bodies from Keystone and yes I was waiting. I did communicate with Keystone because I had an order in, hope it gets fulfilled. -

Gary Chastain replied to Gary Chastain's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Air tanks remade to span across the frame rails and detailed. Three different hollow sets of tubing and fittings to fit each hose diameter. Tomorrow start drilling and running brake lines and air lines to the air bags. -

Yes they are. Detailing takes a lot time, hard to know when enough is enough. -

Adding nuts and bolts to the rear suspension. My old hands are not as steady as they once where. Deciding if I want to run airlines for the brakes and air bags. There is no end to the detail that can applied, where do you stop. -

Thank you for running with the BRBO2022, it was fun for sure. Do you think there will be a BRBO2023? Not sure how much of a pain it is to do. -

Yes, I agree, there are some very skilled and talented builders (including yourself) in the big rig heavy equipment group and the skills just keep pushing the limits. There is so much scratch building and now if you don’t have a 3d printer, you will get left behind on what’s capable -

Thanks Roger, but your build was pretty tough to beat. I kinda broke down my vote into; fabrication, modifications, detailing, color/finish, weathering/wear and picture quality. I didn’t vote for myself. -

Both, there is a trucking company down the street from my house and I have been stealing pictures and measurements, as well as internet research. -

Remaining cross members (40 pieces) installed between main frame rails. Air tanks near complete, jacks need some finish work. -
