Love these traditional styled hot rods, looks like something right out of the "Hot Rodder's Journal." What a beautiful model...

Kenmojr replied to BlackSheep214's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
At next year's Atlantic Nationals in Moncton, NB, you should enter this Beaumont model into the model car show they have in Centennial Park. -
Watched this video last night of an unboxing of this kit.

Vintage ‘69 Acadian SS model kit
Kenmojr replied to BlackSheep214's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
however the website on the box art appears to be a real website. https://canadianponcho.company.site/ I also found this at the above website's forum in this thread. https://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/t50277689/64-gto-model-kit/ Not sure what to think. -
Vintage ‘69 Acadian SS model kit
Kenmojr replied to BlackSheep214's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I never knew such a kit existed. Acadians were to Novas what Beaumonts were to Chevelles. Acadians and Beaumonts were sold by Pontiac-Buick dealerships. Ford also had a Canadian only Meteor, sold at Mercury dealerships. Is that kit for real? -

3D Coat is now offering a FREE version of their commercial app, 3D Coat Print. I've been using the commercial version of 3D Coat for over 10 years. It is a sculpting app like ZBrush but also does texturing & uv mapping like Substance Painter. Download available at link below : https://pilgway.com/product/3dcoatprint Youtube videos on 3D Coat

Looks great. Love the green color. Is this an AMT or Revell kit?

Shapeways 3D 66 Pro mod Nova (Lots of sanding)
Kenmojr replied to NYLIBUD's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Nice looking Nova. I too did not realize there was that much sanding for 3D printed bodies. I have ZERO experience with 3D printers but I have been creating 3D models for 15 years except for cars. I find cars the hardest thing to model. I have a few 3D cars models as works in progress, but I get restless with them. Modeling a building or spaceship is easy compared to cars, especially if you are trying to accurately recreate a real life year, make and model. -
Fantastic print of a wonderful car.

Wow...beautiful model. I built this model when I was 15 or 16 or there abouts, in the late 1960s, early 1970s. Mine never looked like yours. I thought mine build was a Revell but I really can't remember what I had for lunch today let alone what I did 50 years ago.
