  1. Not a Dodge, but 1965 Plymouth.
  2. Do they use ABS plastic in Trumpeter kits? If so, normal liquid cement won't work. How about Tamiya Cement for ABS?
  3. Thanks for the tips, will try them out.
  4. Working on the Revell 1957 Chevy Convertible. The side trim edges are very soft and after paint will not have a good line to foil against. Any tips of sharpening trim lines? I thought of scribing a line around the trim, but that would leave a trough around the trim that wouldn't look right.
  5. I also have quick change connectors on all my airbrushes, Badger and Iwata. Mine are from Harder & Steenbeck, purchased from Elm City Hobbies https://www.elmcityhobbies.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=166_167&zenid=41eacc9717792e893916c67f8d682575
  6. Wayne, looks good. Reminds me of your old Roadrunner.
  7. My '70 Chevelle has a grey undercarriage. All original and has not been repainted.
  8. I have ordered Zero paints from Hobbyworld-USA and have it shipped to Canada. Shipping has always been under $20 from orders around $100.
  9. 1957 Nomad 1958 Pontiac 1958 Chevy Yeoman - we got a Ford Del Rio, why not a Yeoman 1964 Chevelle 1970 Chevelle - new accurate 1/25th
  10. Looks good. Looking forward to more factory stock offerings.
  11. Email Mate at Gravity colors, http://www.gravitycolors.com/, he will custom match anything you need and he ships to Australia.
  12. Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a look.
  13. I am looking for a non-metallic silver paint suitable for the silver vinyl inserts for the Revell 1957 Chevy Convertible. I have tried a few colors but they all don't look right or show up as a metallic silver.
  14. My favorite is Ermie Immerso’s Golden Star.
  15. That looks like a modern version of an AMC Pacer. That is ugly.
  16. Nice pictures. Looks like Chris Coulson is selling his 1970 Hemi Coronet, too bad, I will miss seeing that car around. A friend of mine owned it before Chris bought and restored it.
  17. I have never had luck masking with Silly Putty. Maybe they are not compatible with the lacquers and basecoats I use, but after spraying, the Silly Putty turns to sticky goo and I cannot get it off without ruining the part being painted.
  18. As an owner of a couple real Novas from '62 to '72, so far the shape of mockups already look 100 times better than anything released previously. I am sure they will be outstanding when finished. BTW, Dale Armstrong ran a '62 Nova Funny Car, "The Canuck".
  19. How about DougThorley's 'Chevy 2 Much' AFX Nova?
  20. Great news! I hope they eventually back date the Nova to 1962 so I can do one of my convertible. Too many things to change to back date the '64 to '62, grille, exterior trim, interior, gauge cluster. Hopefully we will eventually see both a convertible and wagon.
  21. I wish, start with a '62 Nova hardtop and convertible, then a wagon. Then do new trim and interior for a '63/64 and finally do a '65.
  22. I have a couple Revell 55-57 Chevys in progress. On each I primered the entire chassis, then airbrush the frame rails semi gloss black. Masked the entire frame with different widths Tamiya tape and Jammy Dog tape. Paint the floor pan in red oxide primer. Mask off the center floor pans between the frame rails. Over spray the outside edge of the floor pan in body color. Unmask and done.
  23. Is anyone making aftermarket decals for the Revell Bronco? I am looking for the Bronco Ranger stripes with the orange accent stripes. Same stripes that Revell provides in the Bronco kit, but with a orange pinstripe within the stripe.
  24. Great! Get the Pontiac Rally wheels and red lines from Joseph as well, they are unbelievable.
