  1. Scale Finishes offers free shipping and the price is reasonable.
  2. Scale Finishes now stocks all the House of Kolor paints in 1oz and 2oz bottles. Just look under custom colors on their website.
  3. I love the color. A Camaro would look great in this, they have one in this color at The Shed in Warroad, MN, amazing collection they have.
  4. I did a '56 Nomad in Laurel Green / Crocus Yellow from Paintsctach.com. the color was a perfect match. However, I could not find a thinner that worked will with the paint, I even tried their thinner but it dried too fast. I have since redone it in base clear from scale finishes without problem. But l think the PaintScatch colors were a closer match.
  5. I always use Tamiya primer under Scale Finishes paint, both thier enamel and basecoat. Never have a problem.
  6. I got my order in just before the website shut down, only 640 orders to go before they get to mine, given that #23260 has been shipped.
  7. I have a set from Joseph at Fireball Modelworks, they are amazing and even come with wheel masks to paint the spokes.
  8. Looks good. Where did you get the shotgun injector scoop?
  9. Wow, nice. Those Molotow pens sure make the injectors come alive.
  10. I have seen this as well, Seller from China with zero feedback and zero history selling new kits for next to nothing. Different seller name every time but same style. I have seen this with the Pagani and new Lamborghini kits from Aoshima. Check back a few days later to see progress and can't find it or the seller, can't find it in my watched items either.
  11. Scale Production recently did another run of thier awesome Eleanor kit. They may still have some available or perhaps some of thier resellers.
  12. Wayne, looks great! Good to see something new from you.
  13. Along with the Tamiya tape, I also use Jammy Dog tape for the ultra thin lines.. great stuff.
  14. Tamiya tape is the best. Comes in multiple sizes with dispenser. And you can get it in sheets that you can run through a printer or photocopier. I have photocopied decal sheets and cutout masks to match the decals on a Gulf Gt40 and painted the orange sections.
  15. On another forum some one is building a MFH kit amd places all the parts in a magnetic tumbler and lets the grit polish the parts. From the photos they look great.
  16. Btw, the Chantilly Beige is a metallic not solid beige. The color photos do look like a metallic paint.
  17. I have ordered Zero paints from HobbyWorld-USA several times. Great service and they will order in anything in the Zero paints catalog if they don't have it in stock.
  18. The Falcon looks great. My guess is the color is Chantilly Beige Poly. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1964_Ford_Falcon_Futura_Sedan_(15279238270).jpg http://topclassiccarsforsale.com/ford/205002-1964-thunderbird-coupe.html http://mustangattitude.com/cgi-bin/showcarm.cgi?pic=/1964/1964_00005_02
  19. If it is anything like Plasti Dip, it will dissolve any plastic it comes in contact with.
  20. Old news. Look up the thread on the model A. Tooling has been fixed and both coupe and roadster back soon with new part numbers.
  21. A seller on eBay regularly has those hubcaps. http://www.ebay.com/itm/311552553842
  22. Thanks for the suggestion. I will check these out.
  23. Does anyone know the correct color to use on the gold wheels available on the Lamborghini Countach? I have several gold and brass colors, but nothing is close.
  24. I made my own using a roll top bread box, adding a filter, duct and light to the box. I purchase a 6" inline Hydroponics fan/blower that puts out around 450 cfm. I can spray anything I want with no over spray or smell in the room.
