  1. How are you guys finding these on eBay? What are you searching by? I am searching "Revell 30 Model a coupe" and all that shows is the Japanese auctions for several hundred dollars. Even searching completed auctions I am not finding the $30 kits mentioned here.
  2. Blue Stuff decals offers a nice decal sheet that includes the difficult to paint hubcap and dash sections. They also have the plaid seat inserts that some of the 300SL came with.
  3. Looking good. I almost have all the parts to start mine. If you go to AutomotiveForums.com and contact user KBX, he sells the lugguage set with lugguage rails and photo-etch detail set for the lugguage. He also sells a nice set of Rudge wheels. I have ordered both and they look great. You may even contact Mate at Gravity Colors, he can get the lugguage set from KBX as well. I am doing a replica of this car
  4. Jonathan, nice progress on the Pagani, fitting those body panels scares me. Bill, nice collection there Pagani, Bugatti Veyron and is that a Mercedes SSk in the background. wow.
  5. I am tired of sellers taking advantage of buyers in Canada with out of this world shipping. Many are charging $20+ for shipping, no matter the size of the package. After you receive the package weeks later because they sent it the slowest cheapest way, you see the postage on the package was under $5. Must have been a very expensive box or envelope. Worse one was just recently, I have been looking for over 15 years for the '64 Thunderbolt photo-etch set from Performance Detail Products. Found one on eBay a couple weeks ago, bid up to $18 and lost it, I would have gone much higher. The seller quoted me $32 USD ( that is $43 CAD) for shipping a single piece of photo-etch when could have been mail in a small padded envelope for a couple bucks at most. Another one that makes me laugh is ordering kits from sellers in Japan, not so much the shipping price but how they hide the cost. One seller lists the kit at $50 free shipping, while another is $32 plus $18 shipping (good deal at $32 not, you need to factor the shipping cost in your bid).
  6. Good to hear things are progressing, can't wait for the update. FYI, Plamoz has the Shelby wheel in the works if your interested.
  7. you need to ask Norm about the them. Not sure if they are in the catalog anymore.
  8. Norm does not have a website, he doesn't need one to stay busy. You can email him for a price list at replmincomd@aol.com . I ordered the grilles you mentioned a while back (very nice parts), here are the part numbers and prices from my last order: RM-75 '69 Dodge Dart $4.95 RM-78 '65 Chevelle $4.95 RM-104 '70 Monte Carlo $5.95 RM-107 '68 Dodge Dart $4.95
  9. Why not just take some regular plug wire and dot it with different color sharpies to look like the fabric covered wires. Eg take some yellow wire, then draw some fine lines across it alternating red / black.
  10. Vintage Racing Miniatures has been promising this for a few years. Not sure where they are at on releasing these.
  11. Thanks Tim, Nice to see this one back!
  12. I have heard of Model Motorcars, I believe they cater to the 1/8th scale Poacher crowd.
  13. Great News! Scale Hardware is back, they were purchased by Model MotorCars. https://www.modelmotorcars.com/scalehardware/
  14. I have seen these on eBay, always wondered about them. From your description it sounds like the thinners have evaporated from the lacquers. I have a few bottles of HOK candy lacquers that have shrunk to 1/4 of the bottle and are like thick syrup. I have successfully re-thinned some of them.
  15. Slixx Decals announced yesterday they are releasing lace decals in three colors, Gold, Silver and Black. https://www.facebook.com/SlixxDecals/posts/1424388920931344
  16. Does anyone make forged composite decals (the marbled composite you see on Lamborghini and some hyper cars)? I can find all types of Carbon, Kevlar, etc
  17. I wish the '57 Nomad would be brought back, nearly impossible to find. The '55 Nomad is easy to find.
  18. That is about $25 us. No clue on shipping. They had all three sizes of pens listed a couple weeks ago, not too expensive.... but they are now gone from the website.
  19. Steve, This is the refill you are looking for. https://shop.bombingscience.com/canada/molotow-liquid-chrome-refill-30ml-liquid-chrome.html
  20. Thanks, I thought it may have been a simplified version of the regular kit.
  21. These are getting hard to find. What is the difference between this and the one with the paint set included?
  22. My vote is for the AMX/Javelin or '67-'72 Chevy C10.
  23. Monogram's Bad Actor '60 Chevy Sedan Delivery had the Outlaw style wheels.
  24. Love this kit. I wish they would fix the dent / distortion in the passenger side door.
  25. Full detail, check out the contents at this link http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10410654
