Mass quanties of Sandpaper needed ...

Hardwood floors are a rare option on these cars. -
Round2 is great. Twice I have requested parts; the first time the parts arrived within the week. The second, I was informed that they were out of stock and it would be a long wait, a few months later they arrived. And all you need to do is send a picture of the UPC and not cut up you boxes like Revell. I can't be bothered with Revell anymore, parts requests go unanswered. On another occasion I sent in the upc off the box, jumped through hoops for them to say, we have no parts for the kit. Too bad, no offer to replace the kit with something else, nothing. So now I am forced to pay double for a kit having to buy replacement parts on eBay for nearly the cost of a new kit.

I may have to get one of these. Normally, a Mercedes would not interest me, but one of these passes me on the highway almost daily on the way to work. the old guy driving it leans on it hard, nasty powerful thing.

Help with PE sheet
Mike Chernecki replied to landman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
From left to right, we have a hood latch (hood part), the other half of the hood latch that attaches to the body. The far right piece is a battery box and the battery hold down clamps in the center of it. -
The Ventura is out, still waiting on the Catalina.

I want a Scrambler, I bought a couple off eBay but all of them had crushed bodies. Would like to get an AMX along with the photo-etch. -

If I remember correctly, I think Norm uses the Herb Deeks centers on his rims and hubs. -

What about the set from Replicas and Miniatures? They came in 3 different sizes, not sure if they are still available. I ordered a couple sets last year. -
Scale Hardware
Mike Chernecki replied to Mike Chernecki's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
There will likely be more shut downs coming as the people running these businesses retire. Looks at all the best aftermarket companies; Replicas & Minatures of Maryland, Model Car Garage, RB Motion, etc. These guys have been operating for 20-30+ years, they can't go forever. -
Just looking at the decal sheet for the El Camino, it does not have any stock stripes or any other stock decals (under hood, gauges, emblems, etc). That is disappointing.

Nice kit, but get rid of that vinyl top, nothing but sink marks that are a pain to fix.

Hopefully they just did not pay the bill to their web host and the site will return in a few days. -

MPC's '75 Vette on the road again!
Mike Chernecki replied to Faust's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Is this kit different than the amt 1975 Corvette released a few years back in the 50th anniversary box with yellow Vette. How are they different? I started one a few years ago but it stalled when I lost one of the body parts.
