  1. I havn't ordered from Paul yet, he is in Waterloo, shouldn't be too far from you. Shipping from Hobbyworld wasn't too bad.
  2. What happened to Paul Meadows? He became a Canadian Zero paints dealer a few months ago. Btw, http://www.hobbyworld-usa.com/Store/ will ship Zero paints to Canada. I have ordered a few times from them already.
  3. Definitely need driving gloves to avoid splinters in your fingers.
  4. Hardwood floors are a rare option on these cars.
  5. Two requests in the last 6 weeks through the website, unanswered.
  6. Round2 is great. Twice I have requested parts; the first time the parts arrived within the week. The second, I was informed that they were out of stock and it would be a long wait, a few months later they arrived. And all you need to do is send a picture of the UPC and not cut up you boxes like Revell. I can't be bothered with Revell anymore, parts requests go unanswered. On another occasion I sent in the upc off the box, jumped through hoops for them to say, we have no parts for the kit. Too bad, no offer to replace the kit with something else, nothing. So now I am forced to pay double for a kit having to buy replacement parts on eBay for nearly the cost of a new kit.
  7. I have both the wheels and the luggage and they are gorgeous. You can also try contacting Matt at Gravity Colors, he can get these for you as well.
  8. I may have to get one of these. Normally, a Mercedes would not interest me, but one of these passes me on the highway almost daily on the way to work. the old guy driving it leans on it hard, nasty powerful thing.
  9. Hi Wayne, Thanks, I will give you a call when I get some free time.
  10. From left to right, we have a hood latch (hood part), the other half of the hood latch that attaches to the body. The far right piece is a battery box and the battery hold down clamps in the center of it.
  11. The Ventura is out, still waiting on the Catalina.
  12. I want a Scrambler, I bought a couple off eBay but all of them had crushed bodies. Would like to get an AMX along with the photo-etch.
  13. If I remember correctly, I think Norm uses the Herb Deeks centers on his rims and hubs.
  14. I know hemi will fit into the real Scout. This Scout sat in my Uncle's shop for a while before being sold.
  15. What about the set from Replicas and Miniatures? They came in 3 different sizes, not sure if they are still available. I ordered a couple sets last year.
  16. There will likely be more shut downs coming as the people running these businesses retire. Looks at all the best aftermarket companies; Replicas & Minatures of Maryland, Model Car Garage, RB Motion, etc. These guys have been operating for 20-30+ years, they can't go forever.
  17. Actually, those are not in the Dart kit. The Dart hubcaps are a bit different having the 5 lug nuts visible on the cap. The set from Fireball Modelworks are the correct cap.
  18. Just looking at the decal sheet for the El Camino, it does not have any stock stripes or any other stock decals (under hood, gauges, emblems, etc). That is disappointing.
  19. Nice kit, but get rid of that vinyl top, nothing but sink marks that are a pain to fix.
  20. Hopefully they just did not pay the bill to their web host and the site will return in a few days.
  21. Is Scale Hardware still in business? I just went to there website to lookup some bolt sizes and the website is gone. http://www.scalehardware.com
  22. I would give the clear more time to dry, perhaps throw it into a dehydrator over night if you have one. Duplicolor clear is solvent based, so it will dry eventually. One of the reasons I switched to using a 2k clear (Zero or Gravity Colors), it is rock hard in a couple days.
  23. Is this kit different than the amt 1975 Corvette released a few years back in the 50th anniversary box with yellow Vette. How are they different? I started one a few years ago but it stalled when I lost one of the body parts.
  24. That wood grain looks great. I bought some of this decal about 30 years ago, I tested it on the Blazer wood grain side trim and it looked good. Only problem after 30 years it was hard to apply the decal without it falling apart. Not sure if this company is still around.
  25. I used the type of medical tape shown below.Just paint with a sharpie or thinned paint.
