Looking good! Growing up we had a 1962 Chrysler Windsor in Coral Grey (Lt Pink) with a Rose Pink interior, beautiful color combination. We had 2 more over the years; one in Sapphire Blue (wasn't crazy about that color) and another in Black w/ red interior (very nice color combo).
Does anyone know the correct color of the belly pan? I don't intend to leave it clear, I have found very few pictures of the belly pan, in one it looks ivory/tan and in another it looks grayish, but could be ivory given the poor picture. Any ideas? Thanks
Nice, would love to find a few these for myself. Growing up we had a couple '62 Chrysler's. How are you going to make a convincing dash, in my opinion the #1 coolest dash ever made? Does the kit have a glass dome over the gauges or is it just flat?
Are you talking Hobbylinc or Hobby Link Japan. I have never experienced any delays from any retailer in Japan, unless it is backordered. 99% of orders I place from Japan were shipped within the hour, if placed during office hours.. that fast. I have no experience with Hobbylinc
Last thing I completed was the Amt 1971 Duster a few weeks after it was released, that was 18 years ago. I had a few WIPs since then, should be close to finishing something soon
I think this is the one you are looking for. Looks like Detail Master stil has it in stock. http://www.detailmaster.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Session_ID=1467a278297b8e231502db4b460c3e68&Screen=PROD&Store_Code=detailmaster&Product_Code=SMT-1970&Category_Code=SMT
just ak Chuck about the decals. He do sellany of the needed decals... I think they are Freemont decals but not 100%. I bought the correct Parrot decals for the nose of the Mazmanian Football Austin whe I bought the Austin from him. Great stuff and Great service.
I also added some photo-etched wire/turned aluminum wheels, turned aluminum injector stacks and the hobby design full detail set (tons of photo-etch, aluminum switches, rivets, etc)
Finding an original Johan '68 Olds 442 is nearly impossible. I found one several years ago, only to find a nice original box filled with scrap parts and sprues. Modelhaus has a very nice conversion kit to use with the MPC/AMT '69 Olds 442.
I like the Huracan, looks like another Lamborghini with full engine detail. Hope they continue this in the future. Why does that FXX K in that color scheme look like a General Lee to me? Add a flag and flip the 1 and 0.
Looks great! I have been trying to piece one together for a while. I can't find my original and 2 I bought online had crushed bodies. Btw, if you are looking for another, get the Testors HSO release in the cardboard box, it has a full set of photo-etched emblems included.
