  1. Talk to Matthew Bole at HobbyWorld-USA if you want to bring in a Zero Paint color that he does not have in stock. You can inquire with him about getting a custom color. I think he has an order going in March 1, so if you want anything let him know. But, if you want a custom color, both Scale Finishes and Gravity Colors can help you out.
  2. Nice! Havn't seen one in years. Growing up my mom had a dark green 1972 Nova SS 350 4-speed posi (she still has it), the neighbors down the road, one had a dark green Apollo and another had a dark green Omega. It was cool sometimes seeing all three in the same place with matching colors. There was also a Ventura in the area but it was blue and didn't match with the rest.
  3. Emerld Turquoise and Tripoli Turquoise are different. Tripoli is a bit more teal colored.
  4. here is the closest picture of Emerald Turquoise. So many pictures out there look nothing like it.
  5. I never dealt with these guys, but I have bought paint from PaintScratch.com. It was a bad experience, it is not pre-thinned for airbrushing so I had to purchase their thinners as well. Not sure which thinners they sent, but it was very fast drying. Properly thinned the paint was drying before it hit the surface. Save yourself some trouble and just order from: Scale Finishes (Jameston can do Basecoat as well if you request it, love the stuff),Gravity Colors(Mat will custom mix a color if you do not see it listed, min 2 bottles),ZeroPaints (available at http://www.hobbyworld-usa.com).
  6. How about Micro Nitro? https://www.facebook.com/MicroNitromodels/photos/pcb.755554917922430/755553521255903/?type=3&theater
  7. Get the MCW color, looking at MCW catalog their 6700 Emerald Turq.Met. is the correct color. You won't find anything in Testors that comes close to matching as Emerald Turq. is a very distinctive color, actually my favorite GM color for 1967.
  8. I think some people confuse what they call "out of scale" too glossy paint job with lost edges and detail, with poorly applied paint that is too thick. I believe a highly polished smooth paint is more realistic, magnify that paint 25x and you will see flaws and orange peel which more closely resembles 1:1 paint. Now look at it another way, you don't polish your paint because you want that realistic "orange peel", now take this surface and magnify it 25x and you will have a 1:1 paint job that has paint so thick and a surface so irregular that it looks like mud thrown at the paint.
  9. Thanks, of course Satellite Company moved that to a different tier package when Velocity came out. I now need to upgrade my dish and receiver to view channels on their second satellite.
  10. My Classic Car is still on TV? I haven't seen it here in Canada for a few years already, you sure it was on Spike, I have that channel but I don't see it.
  11. Wasn't there a guy on there that had a boat motor in an Oldsmobile or something like that.
  12. Thanks Steve for clearing that up. My uncle had a 1967 Cyclone and it had the scoops.
  13. The Cyclone looks great. Just curious, I thought the Cyclone had the hood with the two square scoops on the leading edge of the hood. Was this optional or was it on a different model?
  14. I'll use diodes for the fuel filter and their attachment wire for fuel line.
  15. I use both Tamiya snd Jammydog tape with great results.
  16. Looks good, I also have one started with the same color. Check out Bob Downie's.....wow https://m.facebook.com/groups/198430483814?view=permalink&id=10153819849263815
  17. Just found my stash of '64 Dodge kits. The single headlight grille is in the Ramchargers kit.
  18. Best bet to get Missing Link parts is through their eBay store, Missing Link All of their hubcaps were featured in the last Model Cars mag. Fireball modelworks has some gorgeous mopar hubcaps, but they are late 60s.
  19. The stock Lindberg 1964 Dodge has the hubcaps. Arrowhead has some turned aluminum hubcaps http://arrowheadaluminum.homestead.com/MWH60A.html
  20. The amt 1949 Merc has the max wedge engine and nice air cleaners. Model Car Garage detail set for the 1964 Dodge has both the stock grille and the single headlight hemi grille.
  21. Scott, This conversion is for the Johan 1969 Roadrunner, not the AMT 1968 Roadrunner, no need for the grille. I have this conversion kit as well and it is a beauty.
  22. Who cares what the box says, its what is in the box that matters. Looking forward to this one.
