  1. This is the body style I have been waiting for. Anyone know of any online shops taking pre-orders? I havn't seen this one listed anywhere yet.
  2. I also use Tamiya lacquer thinner and it works great.
  3. You can never have enough Revell 1969 Camaros. One of the best kits Revell has ever done in my opinion.
  4. This was already done by AMT a few years back?
  5. Try this http://acme.com/licensemaker/
  6. An AMG GT passed me on the road a while back. Normally Mercedes do not get my attention but this thing was gorgeous, loud and tons of power. I am interested in the new kit.
  7. Keith Marks email address mofobow@hotmail.com
  8. Just to clarify, is there suppose to be a beveled edge around edge of the glass to fit the beveled channel on the body? Or is this to be considered excess flash and is to be removed entirely from the glass? I don't want to file out the bevel and find it was too far.
  9. Have you tried asking Keith Marks if he would do some for you? Or scale down an image found online and have Sparetime Hobbies print it on their Alps?
  10. Ouch! I came home one day to find my mint amt 1962 Nova Convertible and sealed KISS van all chewed into tiny bits.
  11. I would love to see a new 1962 Nova, I own a real 62 convertible.
  12. I grew up with a 1962 Chrysler as the family car. I love these cars and yours looks great. I want to do one myself someday. You just need a Winfield style fade paint job and it would be perfect.
  13. Revell should do what they did with all their tires when licensing became an issue. Remove all Ferrari logos and the prancing horse and call it a classic Italian automobile.
  14. Bill Thanks! I started on the 57 Tbird many years ago and after paint I lost interest as it didn't look right. Maybe your right about the size.
  15. So the amt 1957 TBird appears undersize. Is the amt 1956 also undersized? Are they based on the same tooling? I was wanting to do a Fiesta Red 56 for some time.
  16. Is the Replicas and Miniatures set based on the gorgeous Larry Boothe '57 TBird from 20+ years ago?
  17. Please explain further, I heard rumors of a new T-Bird set in the works and a few others. Any release date?
  18. How about keeping an eye out for a Danbury Mint 57 T-Bird? I think it came with an photo etched grille. I am sure one will eventually show up on eBay as parts for cheap.
  19. If it had the hubcaps I would consider buying another.
  20. Anyone know the difference between the AMT 1963 Corvette Street Rods released a couple years ago vs the USA-1 kit just release? I noticed the USA-1 box art shows the stock hubcaps from the Prestige convertible kit. Any other differences?
  21. Maybe, look at the trees. Some are labeled Submarine, the others are labeled Lotus/8
  22. At Michael's the 50% coupon brings the price of models down to normal Hobby Shop or online prices. Not sure how it is in other cities, but in Winnipeg the selection is poor and the prices are jacked up so high that it is not worth it even with the discount.
  23. Bill, great tips you have here. Mine is scheduled to arrive today, so I hope to begin on it soon. Here is an idea, since you have the inner ring separated from the wheel. Drill out the eight lug nuts and add some RB Motion Acorn nuts to finish it off. I may do that myself.
  24. Thanks!! You don't want to know how many Tamiya weathering kits I had to use.
