  1. I have never had à Paasche so I can't comment. I have owned several different models of Badger airbrushes and liked them. I bought an Iwata HP-C Plus and love it, I havn't touched my Badgers since. I recently bought an HP-BCS, but still love the HP-C Plus. The gravity feed is easy to clean, uses less paint and pleasant experience to use. If you get the Iwata, use the blue lube when reassembling the airbrush after cleaning, you will not damage the needle when using the lube.
  2. Doug - They do, you would have to contact Hobby World to see if they will bring it in. Check out http://www.zero-paints.com/ for the complete listing of colors. Btw, did you ever check with D&R in Vernon or getting HOK Candies in small bottles?
  3. As usual these new products look awesome. Thank You Joseph for continuing to release spectacular products.
  4. Very nice! Where did you get the Keystone Klassic mags in the first pictures?
  5. So what you are saying is I won't have to pay stupid prices to find an original kit of a car that recently appeared on the cover of a magazine we all know?
  6. I have their 1957 Nomad kit. It is fairly nice, but the panel lines are too faint, its been a pain to rescribe the panel lines in resin. Interior is wrong, not sure what it suppose to represent but the pattern doesn't match any tri-5 chevy.
  7. Zero Paints are now available in the US at Hobby World USA http://www.hobbyworld-usa.com/Store/ . I just ordered some clear and they ship to Canada also.
  8. Looking good! Have you tried finding clear plastic with a slight green tint? I have seen pet bottles with a light green tint ( I am not talking about the dark green ginger ale bottles) and have seen overhead projector slides with the same tint. The plastic is clear but at an angle it looks green, similar to old jars used for canning.
  9. Can anyone confirm if these are the same as used on the '62 Fuelie Corvette? They sure look the same.
  10. How is the body on yours? The front nose and tail is seriously misaligned on mine leaving a 1/16 " step at those mold seams. Does Round 2 have a parts replacement program like Revell? How does this release differ from the recent USA-1 release?
  11. You can order some Scale Finishes paint and buy a Preval paint sprayer to apply the paint.
  12. WOW! Amazing! Which base do you use the regular coarse flake or fine flake?
  13. Not enamel. Similar to lacquer. Dries fast. Dries flat. Requires clearcoat for gloss.
  14. You can request Scale Finishes in basecoat (same as zero paint). I have some Gulf blue and orange in basecoat from Scale Finishes, just clearcoat with whatever clear you like, I use 2k clear.
  15. Talk to Scott at http://www.elmcityhobbies.com/ He ships Scale Finishes worldwide and can maybe help you.
  16. You can order Zero paints from Spotmodel.com. They will ship to you. Or try Scott at elm city hobbies, he will ship Scale Finishes. Have you tried Gravity paints?
  17. I use Bob Smith CA and epoxy glue and Plastistuct (orange bottle), Tenax 7R liquid cements. Recently, I ordered from Europe the complete set of glues/cements in Revell's Contacta line, they are awesome.
  18. I have a separate moisture trap and regulator coupled together with a male hose end on it to connect to my main compressor hose on the input side and my airbrush hose on the outlet side. This allows me to have the regulator close to the airbrush for accurate pressure adjustments (pressure will drop at the airbrush if you adjust it at the compressor and have a long hose) and I can move the setup around as needed (I can have the compressor 50' feet away, but my regulator is always within 10 feet of the airbrush.). I just prop the regulator/moisture trap against something, I need to mount it to a small bracket or stand so I can set it on a table when I move it around. I have an Iwata moisture filter that mounts under the airbrush but never use it because it makes the airbrush to clumsy to handle.
  19. Watch this video, this works very well. I tried it recently on the wheels from Revell 2013 Boss 302 and they turned out great. Will be working a set of Vector wheels myself soon.
  20. Try some Testors Enamel Flat Rubber, I have a very old bottle and it has a brown tar like tint to it. It may do what you need or at least a starting point to mix something.
  21. Looks good, I may order one myself.
  22. I found a rust free 1970 Chevelle sitting in a garage about 18 years ago. Stopped in one day to ask about it and was going to offer the owner $2500. I assumed he would laugh in my face and tell me to get lost. Turns out the owner just lost his job and it was a Friday, he wanted to go drinking with the boys. I asked what he wanted, he said $100. I have the car to this day sitting in storage waiting to be restored.
  23. Any news yet from Revell? Or are they too involved with the new Star Wars kits and likely won't hear of any new Automotive kits?
  24. I cannot get this bondo stuff in Canada so I can't say anything about it. Lately I have been using Tamiya 2 part putty with good results.
