  1. Very Nice!! I need one of these for myself.
  2. Lance And Joe, Thanks for the info...I need to get some of these sets.
  3. please expain. I have been interested in ordering these sets but not sure what they are like. Are they dry powder, pastel chalk, or like a very thick paint that bites and adheres to the surface ?
  4. Alclad has black chrome now. Alclad Black Chrome
  5. These better not be curbside type kits like Testors Boyds series (Chezoom & Alumacoupe)
  6. I think the red oxide was more common during the 1950s and earlier. Tri-5 Chevies are red oxide, yet my 1962 Nova convertible is light grey and my '68-'72 Novas are a dark grey.
  7. I think it was the better move to do the taillight as they did, a bit of clear red and they look great. A 2-piece or having to foil a clear red taillight just wouldn't look right.
  8. Revell / Monogram screwed that up long ago and it has remained on the decal sheet. I got the correct stripes from Keith Marks.
  9. Hmmm... there must be a way around the built-in exhaust because if you notice in the photo, there's a short pipe right behind the front tires... Just shave off the exhaust pipes carefully and cutout the muffler and replace with plastic sheet.Take your time and make careful cuts and it will turn out fine.
  10. Great kit, similar to the amt 1955 Nomad. Only negative is the molded in exhaust.
  11. Jim, Just tried sending a pm to you but it said you can not receive message.? Hmm, makes me wonder if my message was received. Jim please pm me if you did not receive my message.
  12. Already talked to Joseph, his wheels are 1/24th rather than 1/25th scale. They may look to big. Thanks
  13. That's cool! I was looking at thier site 2 days ago, I guess they just posted that. Any source for wheels, push bar, etc? Thanks!
  14. Thanks for the link. I ordered a set and will see how they are, certainly not cheap.
  15. A friend of mine has a couple Kaiser's and they just plain ugly.. no thanks. How about a '53-'54 Buick Skylark and Roadmasters? First gen Corvair?
  16. Anyone know where I can get some General Lee decals to use with the Revell 1969 Charger? I remember someone made them in the past, but I can't find the website. Also, does anyone produce any resin parts for the car?
  17. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10330665 http://www.hlj.com/product/MOE1215/Aut Thanks for the links. Odd, I checked HLJ and couldn't find it. Thought I could snag one early from Japan, no thanks.. too expensive.. I can wait.
  18. It was released in Japan on the 17th, so based on the pattern of the Fords, it should be any day now. Who has these in Japan? I checked HLJ and they show nothing.
  19. Thanks Bill! I need to get back at building mine. Btw, I used the photo-etched headlights from Scale Production and they look great on this kit. I always thought the headlights looked too small.
  20. I could not login either with my username. I then tried my display name and it worked.
  21. Looking good! How did you address the slanted grille? Something just isn't right with the kit grille, but yours looks good. Is that a new Ferrari project in the background?
  22. Check with Zero paints. If they don't have it, they will add it to their lineup within a few days. I was looking for the the Blue and Yellow for the Ferrari GTO chassis 3445GT, within a few days of the request. Zero had released it and other unique GTO colors.
  23. You may be getting some paint that is old. I have bought a couple bottles where the paint separated and turned chunky. I took them back to the shop for replacements. You have the Model Color which is the brush paint, so it is thicker. I have learned to shake and test each bottle before leaving the shop. I love this paint and the color range is awesome. Get their airbrush thinner if you are looking to thin their paint.
