  1. Good to hear about the fit issues now. I guess I will do a full mockup before paint.
  2. What happened to the first one? The paint looked good from here. I think I have everything to start mine in Verde Ithica with matching interior.
  3. I needed a set and could not find anything. I found a very nice set of wheels and tires on a 1/24 diecast. Here is a link to the same one I bought on eBay. http://m.ebay.com/itm/201291680373?nav=SEARCH Note: The blue "Get you kicks on Route 66" version has chromed steel wheels while the other Motormax SuperBee's have Cragers.
  4. $5 - $10, I would take 2 if you decided to make some
  5. I recently bought a 100 pack of XActo blades off eBay. Thought I would save some money and have a few blades to last. What I received was a box of 100 blade blanks, no edge on them. To make things worse I also bought a set of X-Acto drill bits in the oval holder, like the blades all the bits had no cutting edge ground into them. I bought these a few months before I opened them, so too late to get a refund. Perhaps someone is selling counterfeit XActo products on eBay.
  6. Btw, I got strange looks from the kid at the office supply store when looking for this. I finally went to eBay and got a pack of 6 rolls for a couple bucks.
  7. I had to rescribe many of the panel lines on a resin 57 Nomad. After many botched attempts, my best result were using the Dymo and starting the line with the old school sewing needle following by #11 blade and/or razer saw or baremetal panel scriber. I punched out some circles of Dymo to do the rounded door corners. I think it was Ace-Garageguy that recommended the Dymo to me.
  8. I was given this suggestion here on the forums and it works great. Get yourself some Dymo label tape refills.Lay it down and use it as a guide.
  9. Scale Finishes line is comprised of both Acrylic Enamels (older colors 50s 60s 70s etc) and basecoat/clearcoat for the modern colors. The paint is great. The goto source if you want the older colors. The basecoats are great as well. Zero paints are almost entirely basecoat/clearcoat (mostly european car colors and accurate racing colors). Great paint. Offer nice prepackaged race colors offering 2 or more colors for a particular (multi-colored) car in one packaged. I think they are also color matched to the kit decals. Both are great. I guess it comes down to what you are looking for and who has what available.
  10. The Camaro is looking good. yes, please cast that.
  11. I have placed several ordrs of zero paint from Spotmodel. Great service I also buy regularily from Scale finishes. Great product and great service.
  12. Try hanging the tubing with a fishing weight tied on one end. Tape one end off the edge of a counter and tape the weight to opposite end and leave it sit. It should straighten out.
  13. I paint the washer bottle flat white and add the fluid level with blue highlighter.
  14. Try Keith Marks as cooltoys1 suggested. If you don't see something on his website, just ask and he will put something together for you.
  15. Yes, great service. The prices are a bit high, but I didn't mind as I was able to find some hard to get items.
  16. This is great news. I have always wanted to build something like this but never had a stash of parts to do it with the amt kit. I sure hope your talking about Norm Veber at Replicas and Miniatures?
  17. The fender is correct, both 56 and 57 had the peak. The 55 had a rounded top.
  18. I already picked up a set of Mondello Fiat decals. http://m.ebay.com/itm/121559728988?nav=SEARCH
  19. I have both a Ferguson TEA20 and a Ford 9N. They are similar in many ways, I always thought the Ford was a bit smaller. Hard to tell since they are in different locations and have not had them side by side.
  20. Don't care too much for the Sesto Elemento. But the Diablo looks interesting. Maybe we will finally get a nice Diablo, didn't really care too much for the Revell or Fujimi Diablo kits.
  21. They did say a couple new super cars, perhaps this and the Huracan. The teaser photo looks more like the Huracan then the Sesto Elemento (I havn't seen any pics of an orange Sesto Elemento anyway)
  22. I learned the hard way. Without lube it took extra force to insert the needle into my Iwata, pushed too hard and bent the tip and damaged the nozzle. After using lube it would slide easily without friction.
  23. I need to get one of these. I fell in love with these 23 years ago, remember like it was yesterday. The body shop next door to where I worked got in a matched pair of silver w/ red interior 300SLs for restoration, one gullwing and one roadster.
