Very sharp truck. Glad you finished it. I bought the last reissue of this kit and I also had very warped frame. I spent about 30 minutes running it in hot water to straighten it out. It is almost straight. I am going to give it another round of hot water to completely straighten it out. I was going to order a replacement part from Round 2 but I think this kit has been discontinued.
Last week I went to Michaels and the model kit shelves were filled with plastic storage boxes for kids. The only thing left was some Testors paints and spray paints.
I have been on the fence about buying Revell's 1985 Camaro Z28. After seeing a couple of builds of this kit on this forum and watching HPI Guys video I decided to buy the kit. I went to Hobby Lobby the other night and bought it. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of detail for a snap kit. It has a very nice decal sheet. Now I just need to get some tire decals for it.
Cool Woody. Nice stance and wheel/tire combo. The body color looks good with the wood. I built this kit a few years ago and despite the flash issues, it builds into a nice model. It even comes with a Stingray like bicycle.
A few days ago I stopped by the Michaels by my home and was surprised to see the model kit section empty except for some Testors paints. This store has always had model kits. I hope they didn't drop model kits. I have been buying model kits from Michaels for the past 30 years.
