I did a preliminary body fit with the interior and chassis yesterday. Btw the radiator and the front panel seem to be a real tight fit! I should get some more BMF done this week, the glass and the interior mounted to the body. I will post pictures. Thanks everyone.

John I have used self etching primer for about eight years now. I had used other primers and I was having a problem with some plastics crazing (sp?) on me so a friend of mine who did body work suggested self etching primer. I have used it on resin and plastic with absolutely no issues. I use mostly lacquer but this Cuda is enamel and both paints seem fine. I really have never experienced color bleed but I cannot remember like painting a red plastic kit and priming and trying to paint a lighter color. So I am not sure how good it is as a barrier for color bleed. Thanks everyone again for your encouragement.

Thanks. With the weather I should have time to work on it.

I haven't posted pictures in a few weeks on the progress of my B5 Cuda. I finally got back to working on it this last week after coming to a standstill with the holidays. The car is going well and I am pretty happy with the paint as I continue to add Bare Metal Foil and probably do some more polishing on the paint. I am using Scale Finishes enamel with a clear coat of Testors laquer clear.

Steve I was going to use one out of one of my 1967 GTX kits. Thanks

Modelhaus has released a promo style 1969 Roadrunner kit, hood molded in. That Johan 1969 Roadrunner is such a great looking kit isn't it? I have one I bought a few years ago it is a re-release that is molded in red. I should have stacked up a few of those. Even the re-releases in red, yellow or light blue are pricey.

Thanks Steve and Tim. I cannot seem to find like any information on decor package as far as the interior. I know the exterior decor is listed on the initial public release information for the coupe. There is this ad that came out for the hardtop and notice what it ways about the interior. I just cannot seem to find any information from Plymouth. This ad talks about premium vinyl.

Thanks Tim. I did check the Hamtramck sight but unfortunately the trim guide etc must be from the start of the model year. It doesn't really show much of anything as far as information on the upgraded interior. I went ahead an ordered Keith Mark's decals so I will be doing an exterior decor group. Thanks again for all the info you provide us!

Tim thanks for your review on Fotki. I have a question or two since the model comes as a non exterior décor group Roadrunner and the seats would be correct for the upgraded interior on a 68 Roadrunner I think considered the interior décor group. I am wondering could you buy a 68 Roadrunner with the upgraded seats without the exterior décor group? My other question did all hardtops come with the exterior décor group? I think all hardtops had the upgraded seats. Maybe? The model can be built as a hardtop or a coupe if I am not mistaken. I did have years ago a 68 Roadrunner coupe with the upgraded interior but it had the exterior décor package. Sorry if these questions sound kind of confusing.
