Those are little known hot rod parts that are found in the MPC / AMT '32 Chevy Cabriolet kit... I did have to make my own flange, as the ones on this build were swiped from a swap meet glue bomb, and were missing them.

Revell's very nicely done '70 Chevelle snap kit, inspired by memories the style of cars I lusted after in my high school parking lot, back in the late 1970's... Duplicolor Hampstead Green paint.... MRC's big n little Goodyears and Keystones help set the perfect stance...

I'm digging it.... Reminds me of the old 1/32 scale Monogram "Ford Screamer"!

Another of my "what ifs".... A marriage of AMT's Piranha dragster chassis, and JoHan's Pinto funny car body, with the blown SOHC 427 from AMT's '33 Willys gasser kit... Paint is Duplicolor Metalcast Purple, over Testors Diamond Dust base.... Decals are a mix of sheets from Radical Decals and the JoHan Pinto F/C kit....

Actually, that is a '57 Thunderbird windshield and frame... A Corvette may work though.

Yeah, I recognized those bleachers.... Byron is still a very nice facility.... I was there last weekend for the Glory Days nostalgia drags!

Once again looking at a kit to turn it into something a bit different..... Revell's C6.R road racer kit, with a bunch of filling, smoothing and streamlining done to the nose.... Rear wing re-positioned... "Moon" discs cut from pop can aluminum... Pactra Atomic Rust paint.

My attempt to drag Revell's horrible chopped '57 Ranchero into the 21st century....

Great model of an awesome race car!! I saw the real deal run at the Manufactures' Meet, at Rockford (Byron) Dragway, back around 72 or 73.... It really made a HUGE impression on my young mind (I was like 11 or 12) with those monstrous wheel stands!!!!!

Heavily modified... chopped, shortened, and the "hump" removed.

One of my favorite builds.... A fanciful "what if", built from the leftovers from one of my drag car builds, and a few choice pieces picked from my parts stash....

Just so y'all know I don't build only drag cars.... What else would a good ol' Midwestern country boy use as a beach vehicle???

Old MPC Keep On Truckin' '32 Ford sedan delivery street rod kit, from the 70's, given the 60's gasser treatment.... Front suspension modified with tube straight axle from IMC's rare VW gasser , mounted to the MPC kit spring, to get that gasser stance... Wheels and tires are AMT Parts Pack.... Injected small block Chevy was pieced together from stuff I found digging through my many parts boxes... Running boards were removed for a bit of "weight reduction", while front fenders were bobbed to clear those cool exhaust headers... Paint is an Evening Orchid enamel, that a buddy of mine got for me from his local job shop... Decals from Fremont Racing. Since this kit finally been reissued by round2, y'all could build one of these of your own, if you're so inclined!!!

Moebius' outstanding S/FX Plymouth kit, with an OLD set of decals, from Fremont racing, that I've had laying around for a decade or so, of local racing legend, Lee Smith ....

AMT's old Orange Blossom Special pulling truck for the cab, bed and fenders.... Chassis from Revell "Big John" Willys coupe, stretched to match the pickup's wheelbase. Engine is supercharged big block Chevy, pieced together from several sources... Paint is Tamiya Orange... Decals are Slixx.

Oooohhhhh!!!!! You gotta keep goin' on this one, Raul!!! I too am really diggin' that interior..... The body mods and color seem to be workin' too. The only things that I would change would be to drop the rear a bit and go to a more traditional spoked type mag.... the Camaro wheels actually make it look a bit dated, IMHO.
