  1. Love it. I'll be watching this build as I've got the decals to do this car as well. By the way. How's the C7R build going. Almost done or still stalled.
  2. Not that I want to start something, but ant idea when we'er going to see issue #206 ?
  3. Yes it would be. Although I use a # 0.10 and a #0.15 Technical Drafting Pen for my panel lines. This can be filled with India Ink as well.
  4. Outside of the late Dick Trickle, Will Power has the coolest name in Motorsports...
  5. Back when I was a printer, we printed the Tide boxes. To make the Florescent Orange on the box pop more, we printed it over Florescent Yellow. So if you spray yellow over white primer then the orange, you should get the same rich Tide Orange colour after you clear coat .
  6. It can also be thinned with Windex.
  7. Nice looking build. One of my favorites along with the Pur-X T-bird.
  8. What he said. Dremel carry three different sizes of collet's, so you can use various sized shaft bits.
  9. I'm the same. I was given a full set of Whyte Spanners , Taps and Dyes for British cars. Had them for over 40 years and didn't use them. Then my son starts working at a garage that repairs older Jags, Triumphs and MG's and remembers my tool stash and now their getting used again.
  10. This is very true Snake. My uncle Ray built Mosquito's at the DeHavilland plant in Downsview Ontario during the war. The fuselage moulds were destroyed after the war and buried on the DeHavilland property and a runway was built over the spot. Their still there to this day.
  11. Back in the day, Krylon had a paint colour called Patriot Blue. Haven't seen it for at least 10 years but it was very close to the MCW paint.
  12. Glad to see this build back on track ( pun intended ). I'll be watching.
  13. Sounds like you didn't check your " Blind Spot " when you changed lanes. No ticket, but just a pissed off driver. Just make sure you check your mirrors and the blind spot and you'll be good.
  14. Sorry to say this, but your going to have to cut it. Putting it in the freezer isn't going to help. just bite the bullet and cut it. and next time use more release agent.
  15. My dad did all his camouflage jobs free- hand on all of the WW2 aircraft he built. Didn't look too hard.
  16. Yes, but no car was complete until you had the " Purple Sin Lights and the Fuzzy Dice " .
  17. Interesting choice of subject matter here. I'll have to keep an eye on his site. Now if he would be interested in doing a Bretta Trans-Am kit with ICI livery, I'd be very happy.
  18. Still haven't seen a copy of this issue in my LHS. Doubt I ever will see one again.
  19. Because I have grandchildren who are nothing like the generation before them. Even my own two kids are better equipped then the kids in those videos. That's what gives me hope.
  20. Definitely a product of the Public Education system in North America. We have the same type of Dim Witted, Vapid Flakes in Canada. Hell, our Prime Minister is a great example of this Dim , Simple minded thinking. I weep for the next generation who have to cleanup the mess left by these idiots.
  21. You can also use a Split Mould to cast your wing.
  22. My favorite magazine is no longer available at my LHS . Both Daily Hobbies in Whitby and Wheel's and Wings in Toronto are saying that they are having difficulty's in getting it in their shops. Both are saying the same thing, that the payment method has changed so they are not willing to carry it. I know that I'm not the only one who's upset with this. So. Management care to comment ?
  23. You can also go to your local Model Train Shop and pickup some K&S Brass Screen. This comes in Fine, Ultra Fine and Course. Or go online and look for Brass Mesh Screen.
