  1. What are you going to do? Are you trying to make a plate or are you just wanting to strip the coating from the plate. You can just use water to remove the coating as it's water soluble.
  2. Before there was BTO, Randy and Fred formed Brave Belt and put out one album under that name before becoming BTO.
  3. In no particular order. The Guess Who, BTO, Max Webster, FM, Lighthouse, Goddo, Zon, Rush, Madd Cats, Jeff Healy Band, The Spoons, Honeymoon Suite.
  4. Hmm, stove as a heat source, and knives being used. I remember a smell much nicer than melting plastic...
  5. You can also try to make a template of the area you need to foil with masking tape. I use the dollar store tape, as it's got a little less tack to it, and cut it slightly over sized. I then remove the tape template and apply it to the foil and cut out the shape I need.
  6. Do you mean these resin tires. I have done a few for my 60's and 70's Trans-Am builds. Let me know if you want a set.
  7. So does the Revell Rebel Racer Corvette.
  8. I've used gloss clear enamel for a number of years without any problems.
  9. If he is, I have questions for him about his Sox & Martin Cuda build up.
  10. She maybe 50, but she can still rock a pencil skirt and a pair of stilettos.
  11. I have a portable air tank ( also known as an air pig ) that I use for painting. It holds 125psi of air and makes no noise. When it needs to be refilled with air, I just hook it up to the larger 60 gal. compressor that's in my garage and I'm good to go. I still have a Badger compressor with built in air tank that I haven't used in years, that was my first air brushing compressor did it's job well until I started using the air pig.
  12. I really don't know , I can't and don't speak for him.
  13. I see Randy at least twice a month. He has told me on more than a few occasions, that he is scaling down his casting business and concentrating on his hobby shop.He will still cast stuff, but not as much as he use to. I've been after him to cast up some of Trans-Am tires and Minilites for a project that I'm working on. I've been after him for almost a year now, So I'm making my own masters and casting my own. My advice would be tread carefully when it comes to dealing with Parry's.
  14. Scale Production in Germany has a very nice set.
  15. The answer is yes to both. Momma didn't raise no dope.
  16. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my modeling friends on this form.
  17. I grounded mine to the squirrel cage blower motor casing. This works fine.
  18. I use a tooth pick to hold my small parts for painting. I drill a small hole in the part, on the gluing surface so the hole is hidden. Or I just stick it to a piece masking tape on a square of cardboard.
  19. A little too far for me to travel, but I do wish them luck and hope that they will be around for a long time.
  20. The pictures look good. You didn't say if these are the kit decals or aftermarket ones. I can see kit decals giving problems because of age.
  21. Shame that their gone. I got one of the Judd's and was thinking of getting another along with decals from Pit Wall to do one of the other Judd supplied teams. Ebay may soon be my new BFF.
  22. My thoughts as well. The first thing that popped in to my mind was , cool looking Pacer.
