  1. And that's what happened with Sugar Loaf and Don't call us, We'll call you. The same happened with a band from Quebec called The Box. They had multiple hits in their home province of Quebec, but were one hit wonders in the rest of Canada with their song Live on TV ( you can watch them die )
  2. Sugar Loaf , Don't call us, we'll call you...
  3. I use Windex to cut my craft paint, 2:1. There are a couple of You Tube Tutorials on this subject here on this site. You just have to look for them.
  4. Correct Sir.
  5. Only the hard core fan would know who said that.
  6. Thanks guy's. After two days of turkey dinners, I've getting sick of the stuff.
  7. We got a nickel for empty pop bottles when I was a kid, but we also got a dime for the milk bottles. And yea, you needed a lot of empties to buy a model.
  8. Wow ! Too bad we have don't an Ollies in Ontario, I really like that Stuz racer.
  9. So true The only Polar Lights kits I have are the stock car kits that they put out in the early part of 2000. The Torino has that strange up-sweep on the front fenders, hot water and a lot of patients to get it down and looking right.
  10. Back when I was a teenager, my folks had the same LTD wagon. That thing was BADASS, and it was the best car for going to the drive-in with the girlfriend. Lots of space in the back with the rear seats down.
  11. " I can't let you do that Dave "...
  12. I never can get enough of this video. The early cars bring back childhood memories.
  13. I'll jump in the pool Paxton Turbine 1/20th scale Watson Roadster Ford J Car McLaren Mk8B 1/20 scale Any scale AMX or Javelin
  14. It's always sad to hear when a LHS shop closes it's doors. I'm lucky to have 4 LHS's with-in an hours drive of my door. We in Ontario don't have the big box hobby stores like you guys in the states do. And Wal-Mart in Canada still don't sell model kits like they use to so I support my LHS.
  15. The Pantone book your being quoted is the one used to match Pantone colours when using the 4 colour process system when making plates it's called a screen value book. It's not the right book. He needs to find a Pantone Matching book that is used for matching stand alone colours, which I have one. The formula for PMS 376c Green is as follows, Yellow : 78.00 % Green : 22.00 % Total = 100.00 % Use this formula to match the colour you need. You may need to add more green to get the proper tone depending on the primer colour you use. Test on plastic spoons to get it right. Good luck.
  16. I don't think that the media would be rigid enough to support any weight, but I could be wrong. But it looks interesting any way.
  17. Fuel pump. The electrical one in the trunk with the fuel cell and the second mechanical one on the motor.
  18. I agree 100% with this. The only exception to this rule would be if the kit was super rare and the subject kit was something I'd be into building.
  19. In a word, No. You need something has a bit of " Tack " to it so it will adhere to the painted surface.
  20. Not Roush, but Tom Gloy T/A Mustang. Basicly the same mechanicals as Roush thanks to the SCCA.
