Nice! I'm in West Lincoln County.

I didn't see a post referencing model car shows. I've never attended one, but would really like to. I stopped by a cool hobby shop yesterday in Spartanburg, SC-Mason's Hot Rod & Hobby Shop. I picked up a kit and some supplies along with a flyer for a show in January. I'm not far from Charlotte, NC and am wondering how I can find if there are other shows within a few hours drive.

I too have this one in my stash. Are you going box stock, or wild-n-krazee?

Aren't we all nuts? Looking good by the way. I tried swapping rooves from a '65 Plymouth to a '65 Dodge for a sedan A990 build. Not easy stuff for sure.

Love the rivet details!

Growing up, both neighbors on either side of us had '66 Fords-one had a '66 Fairlane and the other a '66 Galaxie. Great story and build!

I'm not really going for that. Tinkering with ideas.

Much much better! The springs are setup to go on one way. The axles and spring perches have bosses to locate the axle one way. We'll, they're backwards from the way they should be. I sanded them out and flipped the axle around. I don't like the metal axles going across, so that will be eliminated.

Tinkering with grille/bumper ideas. This grille looks good, but i think it leaves a little to be desired ?. I really like the bumpers. I would like to get it lower. I think the wheels i have fit on there are too big. These will allow it to sit lower, especially in the back, and retain a reasonable steering ability.
