    Got Tamiya Olive Drab on the truck today. I painted the tires with Mission Models tire black and Alclad Gold Titanium on the wheels. Once it's together there will be copious amounts of mud thrown on it.

    I started this one way back when Moby Dick was a minnow! I have no idea why I never finished it. All that's left to finish it is the bumpers(lights are drying), door handles and wiper blades and fuel cap.

    Thats a good kit. I had a little trouble with the windshield frame. I should've fit the top in place, then put the windshield frame in place prior to gluing it.

    Two very strong color plans. Looks like you need to build another one and use both paint combinations.

    I built one back in the '80s. It's in the que for a re-do as well. I built a '54 Chevrolet sedan Delivery for a local coffee shop several years ago. She LOVED it. It's still on display there.

    I started this one a couple years ago. I thought I'd finish it up while we're out of town. I remember why it was put back in the box. The body will not sit flush over the chassis. Has anyone else run into this?

    You are correct about the grille in these cars. Bleh! At best. I'm interested to see how this one goes 😁 Is the acrylic resin black light cured?

    May I suggest a pneumatic grease gun? You'll wear yourself out with a manual one greasing all those u-joints! Looking Great!
