Here's my 3 year old baby, Leia (yes she's named after Princess Leia from star wars). She is a springer spaniel my favorite dog, I might be a little bias because that's the only breed I've had. She's pretty good at giving the side eye when she's tired.? Here's a pretty rare occasion. Shes not attacking the cat.?

Question Bob, what intake did you use for this. Is it a sbf intake or did you use something else. The reason I ask is because I plan to build a replica of my grandfather's t bucket. He was planning on putting a small block chevy in it, but my dad said no, you gotta put a ford in it. So he used a 289 from one of my dad's 66 fairlane parts car. This will be my next build but I have something that is putting all my model building to a tiny trickle, the car I'm slowly working on is the mpc 67 corvette. Pics of my grandfather's Hamm's Beer T. He is a collector of all things Hamms Beer because of the last name. This is all I have done so far.

Just so you know 66, 67, 68-69 grills are all different. The 66 and 67 front bumpers are the same but 68-68 is completely different. I'm a falcon fanatic so I just thought I should drop off a little of my knowledge.

I love how you referred to the worn off chrome as patina?.

I have this one to but I hate how amt destroyed the 69 falcon tooling to make this. My dad's first car, a 1966 falcon (which he still has today in running and driving order) has been a car that I have always loved. I would love to build one of the big bodied falcons (66-69) whether it be stock or drag, I just don't care for the modified stocker. I have always wanted a amt annual from the 60s my absolute favorite falcon years are the 66-67 because they are the oly big bodied falcons with round taillights. They are just impossible to find though. Ranting aside your falcon looks awesome ?. Glad you got that one on the shelf. Picture of my dad's car today (will remove Picture if you want)

That's a little detail that I would never have noticed, partly because I'm not a hard-core mopar fan. I'm a ford guy for life (hence the name). But now I have to check if I made the same mistake on mine. You just had to point that out didn' you?. But seriously thanks for the info.

Looks really nice. I think you got the fade spot on?. And who cares about the gas cap, maybe you do but I think it looks good anyway That picture is what it feels like sometimes when your working with removing tranys from engines isn't it.

Ooo, ah. That looks like a very awesome project. The 429 is a great engine choice.

Looks good. Like the stance. ?

Here's a mpc 67 corvette that is ready for paint. I shaved the back bumpers for a smother look. And one of the few surviving models of the same kit my grandfather built. Don't ever plan to restore it. FMC66 -
Nice project. Looks like a fun build.

That is some awesome kit bashing ceep it up. Was the 63 johan a glue bomb or did you use a untouched kit?

I think spoiler but no chute. Just my opinion.

Here's some pretty good mock up pictures of a truck that I recently finished. It was a pretty long process to shortened all of the bed components. -
Who all had extra parts for many years
FoMoCo66 replied to junkyardjeff's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have virtually no spare parts compared to you guys. My grandpa and dad gave all their kits they had to me. I got all of my dad's kits because my grandma was so kind to ceep all of them in their basement while he was in college, but all of them were finished models and pretty nice ones to. But my Grandpa's were a different story. From what he told me he had a lot of kits and some pretty rare ones to. His mom also kept his for him, but he eventually gave most of them to his nephew who was sadly not into model building, but that was before he knew he was going to have my Dad who was quite into building models. Unfortunately later in life my grandpa asked his sister in law what happened to his models, she said they were all sold at a garage sale. All I got were 6 kits and a model box full of broken parts that for some reason he kept. -

Thanks for sharing but the switchers t that I am probably going to buy for this has headers with equal length exost ports even though it has a small block chevy (it also has pretty good wheels and tires for the Hamm's T.

This is probably a really dead thread given it was started 10 years ago but that was way before I was back in the model car scene or this magazine. I actually made a hot rod Playlist on Spotify with pretty much every song listed on this page. Here's a link. If you like it you can find it easier the next time you want to listen to it! FMC66

Thanks but I'm trying to diside to buy those or say the wire wheels it comes with are a good enough reputation Thanks but I was looking for 10 spokes not 12. If I wanted those wheels I would have stolen them from my drag cal combo falcon.

Thanks for all your help. After doing some research I thing I am going to use the switchers T and a resin engine. Does anyone know where I would find aftermarket 10 spoke wheels like the ones in the top photo?
