I started one of the coupes when the kit was first released. I didn't care for the look of it so I did some serious modification to it. I cannibalized one of my older builds which I wish I hadn't at this point as I would rather have the original. The back half is from the MPC Gangbusters 32 Chevy. Didn't really care for how it was going and gave up on it before the red spot filler dried.

I agree with that. If only I had a local hobby shop. I was spoiled as a kid as I had three of them within walking distance and three more a short ride away. Closest one I have is an hour away and it caters to RC stuff.

Construction on the roads always seems to pick up in the fall when schools are open again and people are back from vacations when there is the most traffic on the roads.

I try to by the BMF direct from them. Recently they were out of stock on the new improved chrome so I had to buy it elsewhere. I hope this doesn’t mean they have to make a new batch, if so I hope the adhesive is good. Just bought some matte aluminum from them direct but haven’t used it yet.

I think your making good progress there Jim. Didn’t you have tunnel issues somewhere else. I’m sure you’ll work it out. I’m sure with enough universal joints you can get around the bend And BTW Mr Hankey approves of your new image
