Emery board grit?
rattle can man replied to Valvefloat's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
7-way nail buffers are nice for large areas they range from course to polishing grits on one foam block. -
Just another part that will be expensive to repair when it fails?

My rose bushes and ornamental grasses " bit" me multiple times yesterday while trimming them. I guess I should know enough to wear gloves.

What did you see on the road today?

That's why I asked. I know about the Kona, but wasn't sure if the Kuna is a one I hadn't heard of. -
Looking For One Of These Tools
rattle can man replied to oldcarfan's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
From a big box hardware place, the description says it will cut PVC and other molding materials. Since it is a chopping type of tool, not a saw, I presume it would crush tubing but work for solid stock. -

just a bump to move this back to the front, with the upcoming anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. Never forget the brave people who help to protect us. -
My build will retain the cammer. It takes a Ford to get a Chevy to move!

Kuno or Kona? A cursory search didn't turn up anything for a Kuna. I did find one shot of a Kia mini truck, but that's it. -
Rulers for model scales
rattle can man replied to junkyardjeff's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
they are. I have one for MRR and one that has both 1:25 and 1:24 scales. check with your LHS or look under tools for on-line hobby shops. Another option is a calculator and digital calipers. -
I belonged to a Ford Festiva enthusiast group for quite a few years. I learned a lot about my car from them. There was always someone who could point you in the right direction for whatever you needed. from brochures and owner's manuals to parts interchange to reference photos, even hot rodding them, it was all there for the asking.

You might try finding enthusiast groups for each make/ model of car online.

Another reference idea is searching for videos on engine removal for whatever year/ engine combo you are building. they are a great source for detailing info. From the two time-lapse videos I just watched it definitely appears that the block, heads, oil pan, and valve covers are black. And my '93 F=150 300 six is black too.

I would try poking around the RangerStation.com website or another Ford Ranger enthusiast page. According to their website, the Cologne was not offered after 1992. 1995 should be a Vulcan 3L. My educated guess is black block, heads and valve covers and aluminum for the intake. The pictures of a Cologne 2.9L look to be Ford engine Gray.

I wish they would announce when our store (former Big Lots) will open. -
Clear over Revell Chrome

But what does one use now that Pledge with Future is no longer available? I would think products from other MFG might have different formulas, different levels of gloss, etc. -
Cost of living always remains the same: everything you make. Thought i was going to get ahead his month and either the water pump gasket or the lower coolant hose failed on my truck. At least it's old enough that it should not cost too much. No computers involved and easy access.

going to be a nice stretch except for Sunday. mid 60s to mid 70s. Sunday near 90. but unfortunately for the garden no significant rain chances. and we are already an 1' behind for the year. But the nice weather means smoke from annual prairie being burned off.
