  1. Great work! Decaling these NextGen cars is not for the faint of heart. The fact that all the teams wrap the cars now instead of painting makes for neat liveries but tough on us modelers!
  2. Nice work. What do you use for masking tape on the windows and what do you cut it with?
  3. Love that livery! I've got Bobby Allison's NASCAR Buick in that scheme.
  4. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Pierre, an unfortunate coincidence but glad to celebrate Mr. Jordan and his contributions.
  5. Well done. Looks like a pretty complex kit. That color is wild!
  6. All your hard work really paid off, that's a great replica! I followed the WIP and enjoyed how you overcame the challenges.
  7. Driven by rookie Ralf Shumacher (Michael's younger brother) during the 1997 season using Peugeot's A14 3-litre V-10 engine. Benson & Hedges sponsor livery not allowed at some venues, they went with "Bitten & Hisses" snake motif. Decals went much better than my last Williams build. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  8. Nice work, not an easy kit! I love that it's a diesel that was competitive.
  9. Impressive collection of my personal favorite Chevys! My favorites are the '59 and '60.
  10. Outstanding! Love the roof rack.
  11. Great start! I'm along for the ride.
  12. Count me in. Just hope it's not Top Gun in open-wheel cars. As mentioned above it'll be tough to compete with Rush and Grand Prix.
  13. Cool pair of sprints! Don't see many of these built.
  14. My dad's '66 was a 327 Powerglide coupe. Sold long ago to fund his retirement!
  15. Great paint detailing, especially the exhaust piping.
  16. I like the idea of a flatbed. See a lot of those around here pulling trailers or with a big generator bolted down.
  17. Nice! One of my favorite liveries.
  18. Nice! Looking forward to this one.
  19. Well done, the orange really pops!
  20. Great work on the decaling, those couldn't have been easy!
  21. Definitely worth a try, thanks
  22. Yes, the engine is for display only I didn't get the display bases and the decals look bad, but it appears everything else is there. I'm pumped!
  23. I recently scored a neat kit off that auction site, Hawk 1/2 inch scale W163 Mercedes Benz 3 litre 1939 Grand Prix winner. Issued in 1960, the end of the box shows a price of $1.50! There are 2 complete kits in the box which is partly what drew me, I can build a second engine for display. My question, the real rubber tires are pretty hard but have not split. Is there anything I can or should use to put some flexibility back into them or just leave them alone? The kit has those funky clear 2 piece wheels with engraved spokes that are difficult to make look good. I'm thinking of finding some 3D printed wires that will look better. Thanks in advance
