    I've been using Rustoleum brass spray that comes pretty close. There is also Model Master brass for brush painting that looks good as well.

    Thanks for all the kind comments! My wife is proud that she was able to back it in the garage with an inch to spare on either side of the mirrors (a long time ago).

    I believe the downsize era didn't start until Petty used the '88 Grand Prix, the other makes (Buick, Chevy) followed in '89

    Great models! My folks had a '64 Grand Prix that I learned in, including parallel parking. Wish I still had it.

    They are a challenge but they offer some unique subjects, I'm working on the Talbot-Lago right now.
