  1. Sweet! ??
  2. Is this the one?
  3. I'm working on the coupe version of this kit. When I dropped the front end, the axle seemed a tad too far to the rear. I ended up moving it forward a smidge.
  4. I think that's a great color. Really nice build of that kit! ??
  5. Wow, that's one sharp looking 512! ? Big props for finishing it up, I know from experience it is not a pleasant build.
  6. Don't forget "Love Machine"! I love this build, the color combo is perfect.
  7. Nicely done, Frank is looking pretty good! I loved those Aurora Monster Series kits as a kid.
  8. Super clean build! I really like the black on blue color scheme. ? Also, that display piece in the first two pics is cool.
  9. Sweet build! It looks like it could have literally rolled off the Toyota assembly line. ?
  10. No worries! ?? The pull away seems to happen more with Tamiya sprays than other paints, in my experience. It's frustrating.
  11. Wow, I'm really digging this one! The bodywork and paint is awesome. ?
  12. Good call on the hood, that's some smart work! ??
  13. Here you go. I couldn't find the brackets, but I know I have them. I currently have 3 of these kits in the stash and I think some parts have migrated between boxes. Also, I don't have the Olds kit to test fit, but from what I'm remembering, the visor might be a little small for the width of the Oldsmobile. Could be easily modified, though.
  14. She's an absolute beauty! Great color combo, and I love the hubcaps & whitewalls. I've seen a few Decko kits I wouldn't mind having, but they are pricey.
  15. BHCC posts some interesting cars for sale at times.
  16. Purple is still my vote if you're building to the artwork, but I think orange or red would also look good, either candy or with some sort of metallic.
  17. Agreed. Usually they're not my thing- style wise - but they look good under the Olds. I have a spare visor from the AMT '50 Chevy pickup that might work. If you want I can post a pic with dimensions to see if it will on this project.
  18. I'm pretty sure MCW offered a resin transkit of a '65 442, using the Lindberg 1967 Cutlass as a donor. It's not in their catalog any longer, but you might be able to find one secondhand.
  19. Wow! ?? I've been mulling over he purchase of Italeri's Delta HF 16v kit, but this gives me some pause. I'm not sure which one I'd rather build first.
  20. That's a bummer. It looks like most of that can be sanded out (?). I really like the color, though. ??
  21. Oh yeah, she's sharp! That blue looks great. I have one of these kits in the stash, I should take it off the shelf.
  22. Really really nice! I dig the color scheme, it looks killer. ??
  23. I had totally forgotten about this version of that crazy Revell van kit. It looks good in pink.
  24. This is a sweet build, it looks great in black. It doesn't hurt that the 3rd generation RX-7 is one of my favorite Japanese sports cars of the 1990s. ?
  25. Looking sharp! Welcome to the board.
