  1. Beautifully built Cougar. Love the period deep offset wheels. Top stuff. πŸ‘πŸ»
  2. I’m lead to believe this kit is an older tooling and not great, however, you have turned out a beautifully built model. The modern wheels compliment it perfectly. Well done πŸ‘πŸ»
  3. That first mock up shows the body to be quite nicely proportioned, still waiting for mine to arrive. I like what you’re doing with yours, I’ll be following your progress. πŸ‘πŸ»
  4. I’ll be keen to see what you do with the XW Ute Luke. I’ve ordered the XY Ute. Not sure what I’m going to do with it yet, nice custom or old bush basher.
  5. This is an excellent build, it’s the clean and simple appearance that makes this l feel. And that paint has a beautiful glow to it. πŸ‘πŸ»
  6. This looks excellent. To my eye, l can see elements of sedan delivery. ( or panel vans, as we call them in Australia. ) Very intriguing and beautifully executed. πŸ‘πŸ»
  7. Beautiful Shelby Mustang. The modern wheels compliment it nicely. Top stuff.
  8. Beautiful work Donald, that colour really suits. That surgical tape you used on the convertible top does give it a nice fabric texture. Top stuff. πŸ‘πŸ»
  9. G’day Michael, regarding the window fitting, yeah, I’m currently building this one and I had to shave a mm off the sides to get the rear screen to sit in the recess in the body. Cheers, Stuart.πŸ‘πŸ»
  10. I’ve got one of these in the stash. Keen to see how yours turns out and to pick up some build tips for when l do mine.πŸ‘πŸ»
  11. Got the interior together, I’m not too sure about the decal seatbelts, they’ll look ok when it’s all finished and inside the body, but they wouldn’t look any good if it was a convertible. I’m pretty happy with how it all looks though. Cheers, Stuart.πŸ‘πŸ»

    Callahan!!

Medium brown metallic? I know what you’re thinking, did he shoot 6 coats, or only 5? Sorry, I’ll stop now. Seriously though, I am an Eastwood fan and I love a TV/ movie inspired build, so I’m following this one. πŸ‘πŸ»

    64 Caddy

Oh yeah, this car has a real presence. Cool. πŸ‘πŸ» Lots to like about this one.
  14. G’day Mario, nice work.πŸ‘πŸ»Beautiful paint. I can’t bmf wheel arch’s, these days I do them with a beveled edge chrome marker. These 70 Torinos, from the rear, side view remind me of the Aussie XA GT Ford Falcon coupe.
  15. Nice work there Luke. I particularly like the cherry mica on that GTR Torana.πŸ‘πŸ»
  16. Looking great Donald. The tape gives a nice texture to the convertible roof. Excellent choice of colour. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product. πŸ‘πŸ»
  17. These three stand out for me, because they were a joy to build from start to finish and the end result on each build turned out exactly as the vision I had for them before starting. Cheers, Stuart.πŸ‘πŸ»
  18. G’day Luke, you seem to use the SMS paints fairly regularly, I’ve wanted to ask, how are they in terms of user friendliness and quality of finish? I’ve not used them before but have purchased some to replicate the factory colours on my HQ build. I’ll be spraying them through my trusty Iwata airbrush. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. πŸ‘πŸ»
  19. You had me at Mustang. Seriously though, that is a beautifully done mildly customised Mustang. Nothin too fancy you say? Hits the spot for me. πŸ‘πŸ»
  20. Smooooooth! Beautiful colour. Is that Tamiya pearl green? It’s certainly a clean eye catching build. Top notch. πŸ‘πŸ»
  21. This is going to look tuff as. Keep the updates coming. πŸ‘πŸ»
  22. Surgical tape for texture on the convertible roof? Nice. I’m interested to see the results. I guess a convertible top would have a similar texture to a vinyl roof.
  23. Lens two tone rim idea does look the goods, but any of the above choices are gonna look great on this one. Looks awesome at this stage, looking forward to seeing the final product. πŸ‘πŸ»
  24. Hey Tom, it’s a nicely detailed kit and l’m enjoying it ( apart from my first attempt at painting the body! ). Hope to see your build on the forum in the future. πŸ‘πŸ»
