    1969 GTX

Sweet looking GTX. Late 60’s was a great era for muscle cars.
  2. Hi Michelle. These are cool cars, these old Falcons. Yours is a great build. The Victorian plates are a nice touch. Nice work. πŸ‘πŸ»
  3. There’s nowhere to hide if your black paint is flawed. This is like glass. Awesome looking Skyline. I’m painting a 62 Impala in TS- 14 and if it turns out half as good as your Skyline, I’ll be happy. Top notch. πŸ‘πŸ»
  4. Nice Olds Michelle. You say it was a rebuild. You certainly gave it a new lease on life, looks great. πŸ‘πŸ»
  5. These look great in the high impact colours and yours is certainly no exception. Limelight with white interior looks great. Also, nice to know that this is a well regarded kit as I got this one for Christmas. Top job. πŸ‘πŸ»
  6. Awesome paint, trim colour combination. I always like these with the dog dish style caps and steelies. Sweet looking Daytona. Lots to like here. πŸ‘πŸ»
  7. One might think the rusty, crusty finish is at odds with the plush interior and superbly polished engine and drive line components. But it all works for a really eye catching look. Top stuff. πŸ‘πŸ»
  8. Thanks for that Steve! That’s an excellent tip. Looks great on your Chev in the picture. I didn’t know that tape even existed. I’m going to have to get a roll of it. Thanks again. πŸ‘πŸ»
  9. My XY Falcon ute kit arrived today. I’m pretty happy with what l found in the box. Body shape is pretty accurate to my eyes.
  10. My old HQ Holden was fitted with this strip along the length of the body. A common feature on Aussie cars back in the 70’s, usually dealer fitted, it was put on to ward off car park dents. So, in the interest of building my old HQ as close as possible in scale model form, I’m going to have to replicate the bump strip.Evergreen styrene strip to the rescue. The original strip as seen in the first picture is chrome with a black centre . Not sure how to go about replicating that, but I’m sure I’ll come up with something. Next job is cleaning up the body and getting some primer on. Cheers, Stu. πŸ‘πŸ»
  11. G’day Michelle. That’s one tuff looking Chevelle. Wheels really suit it. πŸ‘πŸ»
  12. That’s a sweet looking 56! Nice rebuild. πŸ‘πŸ»
  13. Beautifully built Cougar. Love the period deep offset wheels. Top stuff. πŸ‘πŸ»
  14. I’m lead to believe this kit is an older tooling and not great, however, you have turned out a beautifully built model. The modern wheels compliment it perfectly. Well done πŸ‘πŸ»
  15. That first mock up shows the body to be quite nicely proportioned, still waiting for mine to arrive. I like what you’re doing with yours, I’ll be following your progress. πŸ‘πŸ»
  16. I’ll be keen to see what you do with the XW Ute Luke. I’ve ordered the XY Ute. Not sure what I’m going to do with it yet, nice custom or old bush basher.
  17. This is an excellent build, it’s the clean and simple appearance that makes this l feel. And that paint has a beautiful glow to it. πŸ‘πŸ»
  18. This looks excellent. To my eye, l can see elements of sedan delivery. ( or panel vans, as we call them in Australia. ) Very intriguing and beautifully executed. πŸ‘πŸ»
  19. Beautiful Shelby Mustang. The modern wheels compliment it nicely. Top stuff.
  20. Beautiful work Donald, that colour really suits. That surgical tape you used on the convertible top does give it a nice fabric texture. Top stuff. πŸ‘πŸ»
  21. G’day Michael, regarding the window fitting, yeah, I’m currently building this one and I had to shave a mm off the sides to get the rear screen to sit in the recess in the body. Cheers, Stuart.πŸ‘πŸ»
  22. I’ve got one of these in the stash. Keen to see how yours turns out and to pick up some build tips for when l do mine.πŸ‘πŸ»
  23. Got the interior together, I’m not too sure about the decal seatbelts, they’ll look ok when it’s all finished and inside the body, but they wouldn’t look any good if it was a convertible. I’m pretty happy with how it all looks though. Cheers, Stuart.πŸ‘πŸ»

    Callahan!!

Medium brown metallic? I know what you’re thinking, did he shoot 6 coats, or only 5? Sorry, I’ll stop now. Seriously though, I am an Eastwood fan and I love a TV/ movie inspired build, so I’m following this one. πŸ‘πŸ»
