STU111 replied to Csaba aka felhasznaaloo's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Iβm really enjoying following this then and now build of this iconic car. Lots of awesome little details and techniques Iβd like to apply in my builds. Top stuff. ππ» -
1962 Pontiac Catalina (had a little too much fun with photography)
STU111 replied to Falcon Ranchero's topic in Model Cars
Lots of nice detail work on this one. Good stuff. ππ» I like these old Pontiacs. We only got the 4 door ones in Australia though. -
Gβday Michelle, that is one wild looking Phoenix. Tight squeeze getting that rubber under the wheel arches! Nice job. ππ»

Gβday Donald, Iβm enjoying the little details being incorporated into the build. Paint on the body is nice and glassy, I reckon this is going to be a stunner when done .ππ»

Gβday Steve. I followed this on the WIP page and know how much you put into the build. The end result is simply stunning. Your brother in law will be blown away lβm sure when you present it to him. Top notch. ππ»

This is nice, the lack of chrome adds a touch of the sinister to it. ππ»

Beautiful work on this one. I love these mid-late 60βs Impalas. Top stuff. ππ»

Excellent work with bits and pieces laying around, and nicely ratted out. Lots to like on this one. Although, looking at those rear tyres, the 1/25 scale driver is gonna get a ticket!πππ»

Man! That is one 57 youβd be proud to have on the display shelf. Top notch. ππ»

That is awesome. I particularly like the heat staining on the exhaust. Itβs a technique I have tried with my jet fighter builds but havenβt quite mastered. Top notch .ππ»

Thanks for that Bob. Hope it wasnβt a silly question, but Iβve not seen one on a car here in Australia, although Ive always lived in the southern most part and the climate is quite cold here for most of the year. Thanks for that. ππ»

Revell 71 Mach 1 Mustang 007 Diamonds Are Forever
STU111 replied to THarrison351's topic in Model Cars
Iβve got the Boss 351 release of this kit and if mine turns out anywhere near as good as your 007 version here, then Iβll be happy. Top job. ππ» -
I love the mid 60βs Impalas. All round beautiful build. Great foil work. ππ»

Nice work. Gunmetal paint always works well. In the photo with the ocean view it looks 1/1. ππ»

That looks great! This body shape of the 442 is a beautiful looking car ( imho ). The red paint, black stripes look spot on. ππ»

I love this! Itβd make a cool ride in 1/1.

Gβday Bob, that is a beautiful looking Olds there. Nice glassy finish on the paint. Lots to like about it. ππ» One question though, the drum apparatus fixed to the right hand side of the roof, one poster referred to it as a swamp cooler, what is it and how does it work? Im unfamiliar with them. Cheers, Stuart. ππ»

This is awesome! One thing l noticed is how the belts on the seat harness drape realistically on the seat faces. I found that was not always easy to do when I assembled the cockpit of my fighter plane builds. Top notch. ππ»

Tuff looking 32. Very nicely done. ππ»

Gβday Allen, Welcome. As the other guys have said, the 29 roadster is a good kit to build, Iβve built one and it was a fun project. ππ»

Thanks everyone for the kind comments on the 32. Itβs a great kit and I enjoyed building it. These 32βs and the Revell model A rods are really fun builds and Iβll definitely be doing more. Cheers, Stuart.ππ»

Love the colour. Beautiful build of a classic piece of 60βs muscle. ππ»

Flawless looking Ford, beautiful glassy paint. ππ»

I looked up images of the original car, and your build is very faithful to the original. I like it a lot. Cool looking 32.ππ»
