I looked up images of the original car, and your build is very faithful to the original. I like it a lot. Cool looking 32.๐๐ป -
Beautifully built and the diorama/backdrop adds more realism. Top stuff. ๐๐ป

Sorry to hear that the kit quality was not the best, nevertheless you have built a beautiful model of an iconic sports car. Top stuff.๐๐ป

Sweet looking GTO. The aftermarket resin wheels are a nice touch, top notch.๐๐ป -
Poor little beetle hasnโt seen any wax for a long time! Excellent weathering. Itโs something Iโve dabbled in but have yet to become any good at.๐๐ป

Gโday Topher, sorry to hear that. The mods you planned for it sounded very interesting. Sometimes itโs best to step away and have another crack later. -
I like the look of that inline 6. This is looking great. ๐๐ป

A lot of awesome details being incorporated into the chassis and front suspension alone. ๐๐ป

Pearly Gates
STU111 replied to TopherMcGinnis's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Quite a few classic Chev pickups have been imported into Australia by collectors over the years and they pull big money when they come up for sale, unfortunately a little bit out of my price range, so Iโll have to stick to building 1/25 scale versions. Your old 65 looks cool with that patina, these trucks still look good even with a less than perfect paint job. Thatโs a nice looking collection of builds you have there. ๐๐ป -

Gโday Topher, l wondered how Pearly Gates was going since you posted a pic of it on my recent 66 chev pickup WIP. Those suicide doors are going to look trick when you get the hinges sorted. Iโm a big fan of 60โs pickups, so Iโm following this one. ๐๐ป -
Gโday Michelle, now that is one sweet looking Galaxie, the wheels, stance and paint. Very nice. ๐๐ป

Just looking at this makes me want to grab a board and hit the waves, despite the fact I have the surfing prowess of a house brick. Seriously though, I always look forward to seeing your builds on the forum and this one is superb. Top notch.๐๐ป

Oh yeah, nice choice on the body colour.๐๐ป. Looking great.

This is all lookinโ pretty good. ๐๐ป

Gโday everyone, just finished this one and really enjoyed it. The only issue was fitting the front suspension assemblies but that was due to my not so nimble sausage fingers! Finished in Tamiya TS-60 pearl green, cleared with TS-13, engine block and under body parts painted in TS-38 gun metal. Thanks for looking, and as always any comments welcome. Cheers, Stuart. ๐๐ป

Paint looks superb. Refreshing to see one that isnโt silver. ??

These two look great! I built my 57 150 as a custom but after seeing these, Iโm gonna have to find another one of these kits and do a stock one. Top stuff. ??

Gโday Len, yeah, that 3D printed grill was worth it. Looks way better than the original one you had for the Duster. ??
