  1. Really like that crusty ‘60 Impala and those vintage promos and the ‘59 Edsel wagon; also the ‘66 Coronet in the background of the last photo looks real nice.
  2. Whoa that’s really a gorgeous piece of machinery
  3. Funny thing, when I came on here this morning to post the photos of my 1963 Chevy Nova wagon and saw the photo issue there, I thought it had something to do with the fact that I had accidentally left my computer in my mom’s vehicle overnight in minus fifteen degrees Celsius and had screwed up a bunch of things from it being in the cold for some 12 hours LOL
  4. I probably wouldn’t build a kit in one day again; the only reason this one was done in a day was because of the lack of engine and suspension components, and the fact that it was New Year’s Eve so I stayed up until half an hour before midnight to finish it after starting around 8:00 am.
  5. I would have to agree with the above above post; I am guilty of posting quite a few photos of my models; a whopping 21 for my ‘62 Catalina; which really was more of experimental photography than the display of the model, which really may not have been entirely appropriate for the purpose of the thread. Some sort of photos limit would actually be a good thing.
  6. The whole thing was a few hour disruption, not the end of the world
  7. Re-painted from the original Dec 31st 2022 build that I had originally brush painted and built in one day. Started with this
  8. I have some sort of attachment quota that says it's all used up so now I can't put photos on of my latest completed model. Ok just read through the last three pages it's an everyone problem
  9. That looks very very good; I do like the 1961 Dodge cars; on my list of real cars to get.
  10. That's cool; I do like the idea of repilcating past friend/family cars, though all the cars my family owned back then are hard to come by as model kits. The model Nova looks spot on compared to the real one in the old photos. Looks good 👍
  11. Yes, yes please; I like it a lot yes indeed; very very nice
  12. Too much snow for March 20th
  13. That’s cool to build it using those AMT custom parts; looks real neat
  14. Looks good; been meaning to get one of these
  15. Raining as of now, but it’s cool since it’s melting the snow we got up here.
  16. Pretty cool day; did the first two hours of four-wheeler practical training, it was pretty rad, and then did the first two hours of chainsaw practical, neat also. Same next Wednesday then boatin' sometime thereafter.
  17. I would have to say I would have restored the 'bird as well. Though I went even farther once with a '69 Corvette in which the body had been crushed between the frustrated fists of the original builder. That should've been a parts car, but I couldn't leave well enough alone, and I turned it into a Roadkill/Mad Max abomination just because I wanted to see if I could actually do something with it. If ever you think you've gone too far with a second hand kit, remember this Corvette - if it's better than that, then you can probably make it look real cool. The T-bird looks very promising, can't wait to see it completed 👍
  18. But this looks even nicer, whoa a '64 Bonneville.
  19. Hey from the Soo Ont. Canada; welcome to the forum; I started building around that time, too; early 2021. By the way that Ford sure looks pretty cool. Can't wait to see it completed 👍
  20. Yesterday while driving, a crusty blue and white 1967-68 Chevy truck with an obscure work bed instead of the stock bed; seen it before; drives it in the winter quite a lot. And a circa 1984 GMC tuck; dark blue witha black grille; more crusty than the '67; also a year-round, usually sighted workhorse. Sits relatively low to the ground.
