I like Edsels; the styling and what not doesn't bother me, but here's some funny things people came up with anyway

Lately I've been noticing the same thing here too.

The other 3 are maybe re-do's; may or may not happen. The Nova and Pinto are more of the transition models, rather than first builds, as I started building in February of 2021, and these two were done late in 2022; the Nova being built in one day start to finish since it was December 31st 2022, also known as 2023 new years eve, so I was able to "burn the midnight oil" with that one. Kits around here are pretty hard to come by; even supplies and paint is hard to find in town, so because it may be a long while before I can get a new kit, I figured why not just rebuild some that I wasn't really satisfied with. So far the two I rebuilt already, left me very pleased with the new outcomes.

Finished the '53 Ford Truck right on schedule, Tuesday evening. Yesterday started number 3 re-do, the 1956 Del Ray. Should be a weekend completion. Have actually 3 others I may redo, namely my '63 Nova Wagon, '66 Wildcat, and '77 Pinto as I know they're cool cars but the way I built them was still in the "learning" zone; the Nova and Pinto having been brush painted.

Has the site been slow/unresponsive for anyone else? 3/9/25
Falcon Ranchero replied to DJMar's topic in How To Use This Board
There was some sort of issue back in the summer or something, and that was an actual forum disruption. Been fine since they fixed it so I dunno -
Really like this, looks good, reminds me of the Liberty Mutual Duster but without the stickers and blue siren on the roof. (P.S. Liberty Mutual customises your car insurance so you only pay for what you need.)

The '53 Ford truck looks like it'll be completed sometime this evening, though no pictures 'till Thursday. On the weekend I painted and assebled the flathead engine, and put it in the chassis. Quick change of wheels, and a body repaint over the course of yesterday and today; definitely a quicker rebuild as I'm not doing anything as drastic as the modifications of my Cadillac.

AMT '63 Chevy custom done using all custom parts in the box
Falcon Ranchero replied to BIGTRUCK's topic in Model Cars
Daring choice; though I do say I really like how it looks. When done correctly those AMT special custom parts actually look pretty cool on the cars. WELL DONE 👍 -
I dig that Batmobile set; I build these too; I have the London double decker bus, 1967 Mustang, 1969 Camaro, 1961 Corvette, the 50s truck, the fiat, Vespa, Ghostbusters Cadillac, the 007 Aston Martin, and the new Volkswagen camper
