Here's a few pictures of what I use that works. The cable is usb-c on both ends, the port i use most is 5v- 3 amp. Both ports can charge separate devices at the same time.

I have a Samsung phone. The charging cable is ubc-c. I've noticed certain "wall warts" do not supply the appropriate amperage to charge it at a reasonable rate. The "higher" amp plugs I've had no issue. Cheap chargers seem to be the culprit, and check for crud in the charging port.

Rolls-Royce No Chemicals, No Paint, No Harmful Glues

That looks superb David. One tip I've picked up is just a touch of dawn dish soap in the water stops the paper from loading up,and let's it glide a bit easier. Something like one drop to a cup of water. -

Great work with the torino, looks good. Welcome to the forum. -
I see that as a great idea, I had happened to have a pair of welders clamps in my hand and the light bulb went off..

I see these all the time at flea market's. I'll definitely grab a couple for the bench. Any thoughts on making some different shaped "feet" (removable) for different applications/areas?

You definitely have a great shine going on. That looks fantastic 👍👍 -
Vallejo model color black thinned with createx 4011. Very thin, with a #20 mini round brush. The surround of the grille is createx wicked black pearl, hand painted and cleared with a brush as well.

Rolls-Royce No Chemicals, No Paint, No Harmful Glues

No better way to improve on a skill than to practice, especially when there is an interest involved. I myself like problem solving, alternative options to reach a conclusion or solution. More than one way to skin a cat,so to speak. Model kits are a series of small "problems" to figure out. Any BMF ive ordered has come directly from them(freshest supply), and I store mine in a large envelope in my pantry where it stays cool.(another trick I picked up here on the forum). -
What did you see on the road today?

Cool that you got to see another Lemans. I like seeing them more than the gto,as most have been turned into gto's through the years. Kind of how there's more willy's coupes and cobras today than they actually ever produced. -

here's a tutorial, but the size(glue) is chemical based. There may be an alternative adhesive, or something water based. -

Don, is the thickness of the foil causing your issue? I've read a few "homemade bmf" tutorials and they all say the cheaper brands are thinner and what works better. Or is it an adhesion issue? Maybe the pva glue needs a bit of "tooth" to adhere to the foil, try brushing a fine scotchbrite pad or high grit sandpaper on the backside of the foil, and apply the glue to the foil. Another thought, but I have no experience with it,is silver leafing. Not sure if the glue used with that has any odor. -

I believe so. The mismatch wheels caught my eye so I snapped the picture. -

What Did You Get Today? (Not Model Related)

Vehicles that "self change" the oil. That's not a flaw, it's a feature. I've owned a few -
My wife's jetta did volkswagen things today. severe misfire on one cylinder out of the blue. The irk came when swapping coils to diagnose, the miss cleared up. 25 minute test drive, still good. Odd. Five new plugs and replaced that coil pack anyway. Ordered 5 oem, I'm not trusting aftermarket.

That's how it starts, before you know it you've got an entire garage full, and still somehow you keep buying more. Clean them up, sharpen them, and put them to work.👍👍 -

I've been watching my boss deal with today's modern mess. What should be a simple windshield replacement has turned into 1500 dollars of headache for the guy, the camera/lane departure junk won't calibrate due to the aftermarket windshield safelight installed, his dash has ALL the Christmas emoji's lit up. An O.E.M one is on order, and he's arguing with safelight.

Nice daytona. The story and history behind them, and all the aero cars of that time, I find fascinating. Great work with the custom touches.👍👍
