  1. It's createx wicked black pearl. Createx 4050 ulvs clear.
  2. Very much the case with my two. They're both lovable goofs most of the time, but highly protective of my wife.
  3. Absolutely sound advice. Step #1 get it running, that way you can enjoy it while you save up,and acquire things for your ultimate idea. Non-op vehicles tend to stay that way,no matter how good the intentions of owners.
  4. Pretty decent looking start for a project car, great platform as well. 👍👍
  5. I got the hood resprayed and cleared, along with the body. Going to let this cure good and long before any finish work.
  6. That's the good side of the ford, the driver's side you can see the floor sagging past the dog leg on the fender, she's gone. That dodge hasn't moved in the decade I've lived here, either. There's also a jeep and a ranger, the ranger moves occasionally. It's a horror show hoarder property.
  7. You're welcome, I had a run in with legionnaires in 2019, a month in the hospital, 22 days of which was a medical coma so I understand the severity of your situation. I bounced back as I'm a younger guy, but it was that wake up call for me.
  8. David, sorry to hear about your condition. I have used craft acrylics thinned with createx 4011 or 4021 reducer, brush painted with success. Found that little gem of knowledge here on the forum. I use it mainly for weathering and interior work. Soap and water clean up. No real odor that I can smell, though I'm aware a mask should be used when spraying createx products. It seems to help the paint flow out as well as with adhesion.
  9. This pulled up while I was getting coffee. It looked in real nice shape. I finally grabbed a shot of this old ford. It's right down the road from me, sad to see it rotting away. It's parked at the one house keeping the property values in check on my road.
  10. Started polishing the clear on the Chevelle last night, only to burn through on the hood. FULL STOP. Stripped it and will reshoot it this morning.
  11. Nice work! The pullies look great and that shifter is awesome 👍👍
  12. Yeah, they found that loophole. I was not shocked when they talked about the "waver" they all signed explaining it was experimental and they were aware of the risks.
  13. Best of luck getting the new position. 👍 👍
  14. Great work on the radiator support. That is a huge improvement. You nailed the stance, she's sitting perfectly. 👍👍
  15. At least they got you up and running quickly.
  16. Beautiful collection. 👍👍
  17. Sounds like a solid plan. Looking forward to it.
  18. All part of the fun. Change one thing, nine others pop up. In the end that engine will look awesome in there. 👍👍
  19. Look into a polyurea coating. More expensive than epoxy, doesn't chip and expands/ contracts with the concrete. My boss used it in certain parts of our shop.
  20. More was what Oliver Twist asked for.
  21. Circles are what my coworker runs in.
  22. My question is was/is anyone under him also responsible in reality? I know there's very deep legal wormhole in this case, and while the majority of the industry pointed out the short comings of the design, what's to stop another cowboy, and a repeat?
  23. Later versions of these were essentially ford rangers, maybe the 2.3 L mazda engine from one of those would be fairly simple swap?
