  1. That is really incredible work and truely inspirational. Your a real craftsman.
  2. This is Tamiyas' 911 GT2 kit with the addition of a C1 Models Rauh Welt trans kit. This was a challenging build as the supplied body shell needed a lot of work to get it to fit and in to shape. I added Hobby Design brakes and machined my own wheel rims to fit modified Tamiya wheel centres. The front and side skirts were lowered and Hobby Design rivets added. The wheel arches were also modified to add to the the buxom look these cars are known for.
  3. Little needs to be said about Revells' 40 Ford kit. Everything goes together as it should and there is no shortage of different ways to build it. I built mine as a traditional rod.
  4. Thats a nice resto Steven. Its great to see the old models being bought back to better than new.
  5. I was looking at these some time back for use on competition cars too. I never did buy any and from what I have seen of them they seemed to be more for the bosozoku type subculture cars. Its the sort of thing you would really need to buy and then see what you could do with them. http://www.1999.co.jp/search_e.asp?Typ1_c=112&scope=0&scope2=0&itkey=fujimi+over+fender+set

  7. Maybe a set of old school wheels/ hubcaps would help
  8. The colours really pull it all together. Well done.
  9. That really captures the look. Well done
  10. That just looks right. Nice work.
  11. I recently purchased that VRM Cheetah decal sheet. Quality really is excellent. Printed by Cartograf
  12. Its great to see one of these challenging trans kits finished. I bet you have learned heaps and the next one will be a cinch. Well done.
  13. That really captures the bosozoku look and you've created an unique model. Well done
  14. Thats going to be one serious pickup. Nice work
  15. You're body is looking great and its sitting on the chassis right too. Its not the easiest of bodies to work with. C1s metalizer does work well. You can rub it over their suggested black or use other colors for different effects.
  16. Thats turned out excellent. Fisher kits really capture the look of the original
  17. If the primer is soft and peeling I'd definitely be stripping. Think of your primer as the foundations. if it isn't right nothing good can come from continuing. I would be looking in to the compatibility of your etching primer with resin.
  18. I've always just used Bostik Blu Tack as a masking agent. Never had an issue. Its popular amongst the Military and Aircraft boys. It always pays to test these things on a spoon first before commiting to the model.

Thats a different take on the color schemes I normally associate with a 32. Well done on being outside the square.
  20. There is always a fish hook ready to catch you out somewhere along the line. I'm wondering if you may have a color matching issue when you repaint those areas. it looks like another great kit from Aoshima and your build is doing it justice
  21. It should polish out
  22. I think Michael sums it up well. You would never use Future as a primer. i have used Future as a barrier but its done as separate step after I've primed. I then place another light coat of primer over the Future before the color coats.
