Yes, excellent. I really like the first pic, and #18.
  2. Sometimes a tiny little tank is appropriate.
  3. Fremont Racing Specialties has the Souza Bros. and Dad decals. He's got a good reputation. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Souza-Bros-33-Willys-1-25th-Fremont-Racing-Specialties-decal/323181852923?hash=item4b3f23b8fb:g:5hoAAOSw3HJZj5vj
  4. I'm considerably disapointed in Jadis. I actually expected her to start smooching with Negan when he was strapped down. Seriously.
  5. I can't see the original pictures, but all of the Revell whitewalls are the same. Casey, the ones you posted are just like the ones I referred to from the 56 pickup.
  6. I just read about Bill's problems with ebay and shippers. My complaint goes back to December. I bought a new Playstation 4 Pro off Amazon. It's about $100 more than the regular PS4 and it was what I wanted. It came from a 3rd party seller, but I've never experienced any problems with things that dont come from the Amazon fullfillment center. What arrives is the regular PS4. The short version of the month long nightmare, is that first I was told I'm lying, then I'm told I received exactly what I ordered, then amazon told me the seller had closed his store, then they find the seller and he says he sent the correct item. When he agrees to accept it back, he tries to charge me return shipping. That was going to cost me $50. I finally got it straightened out after multiple phone calls with Amazon and 3 weeks of irritation. When my credit finally appears, although I got the $50 credit on my return shipping, they've still charged me the 10 bucks it cost to ship it to me in the first place. At that point I gave up. My only real consolation is that the seller now has lost 59 bucks profit on a PS4, and someone out there has a 400 PS$ pro that he got for a great price. I really didn't want to quit on the last $10 especially on principal, but I already had literally over 5 hours into this and it wasn't worth my energy to keep on dealing with it.
  7. Mine takes up about 10 total feet, including the 3 or 4 feet for the Testors rack, the diecast kits, and planes.
  8. I don't even bother with the ones by me anymore. Either they haven't sold a kit in years, or they have multiple cases of old, unpopular kits.
  9. It's from the AMT 1967 Cougar. I've still got it, 51 years later
  10. Well that was fun. It's a lot easier when you are real familar with the box art
  11. Yep, I've thought about the starting with the Monogram Jinx express for a long time.
  12. Old Ironsides is on my grail list. I just can't spend over $50 on a glue bomb.
  13. Pretty old news, but the Monkey Ward was turned into something called the Fabulous Phaeton and then it was in a fire. Sad.
  14. I like it better in maroon with different shaped window openings. Not sure if this fits in with the topic.
  15. That's quite a neat looking engine!
  16. Oh you're right! Funny how I never noticed that before.
  17. The original AMT 68 Corvair had those too. As for molding hollow cylinders, all the styrene tires I've ever seen are 2 piece. Amt made a lot of styrene drag slicks in the last 60's.
  18. That '62 Chevy was sold by Wolfie on ebay quite a long time ago. I haven't seen anything from in such a long time, although his style is frequently copied.
  19. A better pic of the setup.
  20. The best but not the favorite is my current one, 98 Dodge Durango. I'm not a Mopar guy, and its boring, but it gets me where I need to go!
  21. One of our members modified a diecast into that several years back.
  22. It's pretty much the same, but the Passenger Car Body Division of SAE would indicate a phaeton is 5 passengers and a touring is 7, with jump seats and sometimes a longer body to accommodate them.
  23. #4 is the BBC from the MPC 53 ford flipnose.
  24. The tires in my pic are original AMT. I have copies of them in resin from Modelhaus. I'm not sure if R&M has them. The first and only kit I've ever seen them in was the Willys/32 Sedan kit mentioned in the other thread. I never had the Willys as a single kit, so I don't know if the tires were in that.
  25. The tracks that close to put up housing or retail spaces has always bothered me. I've become sort of immune to it now. It's become inevitable. The Fremont Drag Strip ( later Baylands Raceway ) was shut down in 1988 to build a housing/retail complex. 10 years later work started, 10 years after that it had a few auto dealerships, and finally 30 years later it's relatively busy on weekends. They did try to put a ball field there as well as the intended housing complex, but never happened.
