  1. I saw the 2H try to run with the huge wing at Laguna Seca. It didn't make the race, but I've long forgotten why.
  2. Great job, clean workmanship! I love this old kit, so I certainly enjoy seeing good buildups of it.
  3. Great job, I love your work on the body, and the texturing is exceptional! The sleeves on the rear wheels are an excellent touch! I've got the Royal Rail half-done. The silly crown is a pain in the neck, which cancelled my enthusiasm. I should try something like you did!
  4. I still use it from time to time.
  5. Nothing works for chrome. I get "could not move directory extension into profile". Maybe because I have Windows 10?
  6. I like those JDM's Do you have more pics of the Silvia?
  7. That's some amazing work! Your avatar, "simpson artistry" pretty much explains it all
  8. This is why I love this thread, all sorts of great bands I would never have run across. And these guys, wow. Its 1975 all over again, and I'm 21!
  9. Is that Eddie's?

Coming along great! The emblem and the tire lettering add a lot to the overall look.
  11. Great choice for the engine.
  12. Nice work B. I just found this over yonder on TRaK. Carry on!
  13. I ran across the Dead Daisys last week. John Corabi from the Crue plus folks from Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, and a few other projects. They formed in Australia, which might be why I never heard of them before. Seems like Australia and Canada get all the good acts. http://thedeaddaisies.com/ Edit @ 1:05pm. I just got a notice from ATT that this post might be copyright infringement. So is this real? The vids came directly from Dead Daisys youtube channel. So maybe they make money for each viewing, just not if its reposted elsewhere?
  14. As lousy as TKM bodies are, I wouldn't be able to make a master to look anything close to the real thing, or even like his.
  15. I don't know a lot about it other than the trailer used to be the MPC Super Trailer and also came in a double kit with the Ford MK IV. I built the trailer when first released in the 60's and it was extremely fussy. I expect with today's glues it would be easier.
  16. I think Ed Fluck at Drag City Castings may have some chopped '34 5 window coupes left. lowcab36@epix.net
  17. You have to understand the significance of Lemmy to appreciate this one. He doesn't have a great voice for ballads, nevertheless.....
  18. No hobby shop anywhere near me has stocked things like stance tires and overfenders. I've never seen any of the Japanese car kits I was interested in, either. And the only aftermarket decals were a few Slixx offerings. If they haven't got it/wont order it, I'll go elsewhere.
  19. Here's Springfield, Dan. Good stuff. They remind me a bit of VyPole with words.
  20. I stand corrected!
  21. Now that's what the "new" Ford T-bird should have looked like. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, I would have bought one for sure.
  22. I don't know about the repop, but the original kit was designed to have dual wheels on the tandem axles.
  23. Thanks for the reminder, I've got some things on my wish list
  24. I'm using it, but haven't put enough pictures there to find all the nuances. It's super-simple and fast to upload and download. That part I like.
