    DTM Firebird

Wow, that was a shock! It sure looks a whole lot better than that Foose creation. Job well done!
  2. Didn't Mr. Norm's, or someone, do a big block Valiant or Dart? I've seen pics of an early b-body that was done by a dealer. I think.....
  3. Welcome Jim. We're the same age. What I've found is that I can get into a "zen" mode and become really absorbed in a build, and I forget about the aches and pains. I've got a serious chronic illness, so I'm not just blowing smoke. Glad you're here
  4. I didn't know any Dusters were available with the 440. Was this some sort of special deal?
  5. That's really unique. The color, stripe, wheels and tires, and opened headlights are great touches. I wonder if anyone has every done a bright green and cream 'Vette before? Outstanding, I love it.
  6. I should have added an important piece to my post above on the 40 Ford. I'm so familiar with the kit, it goes together without much effort. I get into a zen like state, mainly relying on "muscle memory" and things just fall into place. It happens with the AMT 32 Ford roadster too.
  7. Mean Mary James. I don't like all of her stuff, but I think this is great, and I'm not even a banjo fan. Scroll to 4:00 for a pickers' version of speed metal. https://meanmary.com/
  8. I've had mixed experiences with this. The ex-wife hated it. She has some serious issues and was jealous of my hobby. "Not Mrs. Draggon" ( girlfriend ) is supportive and has even bought me a few kits and supplies. I haven't built in 4 years and she has encouraged me to get back to it. My son thinks it's neat, but has no interest in it himself.
  9. Wow, Ron, that is fantastic. I don't know which I like best, this or your green sedan. You should take a pic with them both. I love your style!
  10. So much for the British F-1 GP. Seriously though, what the article said about the tipping point being reached when electric vehicle prices coming down to the cost of gas and diesel is true. I'd consider buying a Ford C-Max Hybrid but I just can't justify the cost. The girlfriend wants an electric vehicle but is quite deluded as to when they will be as inexpensive as her Ford Fiesta.
  11. I'm on that group too. Come on over Gary!
  12. Those are clean by today's standards, I imagine they were really outstanding back then. I like your style Gary, the blue Model T dragster is my favorite. I'm glad you shared them with us!
  13. Must be lost in translation. The dimensions seem to be a bit off, height vs width
  14. Thanks Tom, I did hear back from them. This is such great news!
  15. I gave up and had to google it.
  16. That link just leads to the yahoo home page. Do you have a better address? I really need some of his stuff.
  17. There's a surprising amount of difference in the rear wheelwells, the slicks sure do fit the snap body better. That's got to be the most detailed and accurate front suspension work I've seen on a Chevelle. Good work!
  18. That's neat, I love it. Seems that all your work is "sanitary"
  19. That's nice! I love all the little extra details you've added. I love the gas tanks and the oil tank. Super clean workmanship. Well done!
  20. This is weird. The pic came straight off of google photos on my computer. I wonder if PB did something to them? I posted another pic elsewhere that I moved to Google Photos and it was invisible sometimes, yet sometimes you could see it.
  21. Downloaded all my PB albums, started new ones in Google Photos. Open album, right click copy, and just paste here. Easy peasy.
