  1. The early issues had these parts. Funny thing is, I have about every version of this kit, and I could only find the tonneau in the candy-stripe box issues, the Ford dealer promo and the one with the red "highboy drag racing version" on the side. Replicas and Miniatures as well as P&P resin works have the parts youre looking for. I cant vouch for the R&M parts, but I have the P&P ones. The tonneau cover sorta fits. Then again, it sorta doesnt. Heres a pic of it.
  2. I don't think thats actually a car. It must have come from that abandoned amusement park in Pripyat.
  3. Yea, I dig the semi too!
  4. Being a Cal-look guy myself, I figure that nothing other than what you ran on your 1:1 will do. Hideo Motohashi might be able to make you a set, however, its pricey. His production unpainted aluminum BRM's go for about $20 a set U.S. others can go for over 300. http://motohashi-mww.com/catalog.html
  5. Whatcha doin' on this side of the TRaKs Junior? Merry Christmas!
  6. All gorgeous, you should be quite proud. I always dig looking at your posts, impeccable craftsmanship with a subject matter near to my heart.
  7. Outstanding, pushing that axle out front changes it all up, I certainly dig it. Great work!
  8. Outstanding, I'd love to have something like that on my shelf.
  9. Judging by the pics and the sellers description it should be this kit. That guy is deluded........
  10. Yup, Roger's right. Theres a discussion on this over at TrAK. Thats such a nice model, too bad Revell got the body so wrong. What's with their design staff, they have so many issues with incorrect proportions.
  11. The Yellow jacket has been one of my favorites since it was new. Thx for posting it Junior.
  12. Good to see ya back on the forum Jody!
  13. It was on Fox yesterday, and while pics on the TV aren't like real life, it looked better than I was expecting. The CEO ( ? ) of Ford was touting the "global" aspect of it and how they are expanding the export of the Mustang into new markets which have never seen a Mustang before. One can see how the styling might reflect this thinking.
  14. Somethings all wrong when you see an AMT 32 Ford coupe or roadster in anything but black, and that 34 just feels weird in white.,Mine was red too, as was the Double Dragster.
  15. How about this gem. I contacted the seller, and yes, the price is correct and is for one. I thought it might be for a case......... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=161164953071&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
  16. The Visible Vixen isn't real, its artwork done by Keitth Weesner. How did that not get banned from here.......you can see the boobles.
  17. Now THATS one of the craziest listings I've seen. He must fancy himself to be something quite special. Wonder if he knows about the issues with the roof among other things.
  18. I worked at a body shop for a short time, painted/lettered/muraled cars in my garage for a few years, then became a construction equipment mechanic for 23 years. Not very exciting but I enjoyed it and it paid the bills.
  19. Just pre-ordered mine. Heres the pic from the ebay listing. Wonky headers and of course the "fail" on those front wheels. I'm stoked.
  20. The reissue has 2 piece plastic tires. They are similar in size to the originals but not in appearance.
  21. That's great, and all, but us oldtimers remember it was done 39 years ago in "The Man with the Golden Gun" in an AMC none the less.
  22. I dig both of those Fred, love the stance on the van, very agressive!
  23. Dig that manx!
  24. Tom Cruise as Shelby would be like casting Joe Pesci as Enzo Ferrari.
