  1. Great story, and incredible reconstruction. Your recovery of the body seems impeccable. Lovely Olds, and a very rarely seen kit at that. Beautiful work, thanks for posting.
  2. Nice kitbash. The big block Chevy looks right at home. A good looking build, despite the issues. Well done.
  3. Cool Cunningham! I never knew this kit existed. Nice, clean work. Well done.
  4. Good looking Buick. It's nice to see these alternative body styles. The gold & white work well with this body. Nicely done. On another note, I have now discovered the reason for the world Avanti shortage.
  5. Very promising result, Greg. I think this is a great idea and it seems to work very well. Like the others, my 'go to' method for scripts is foil under paint. However, I think this is a viable option, and there are lots of other applications for this method. Just a couple nights ago I was trying to expose the very fine chrome script from a chrome cam cover painted black. I damaged the chrome plating on three of the very small letters, and had to try to dry brush silver paint to restore them, with lack-lustre results. Your method would have worked much better. Thanks for the tip.
  6. I wondered if anyone else used cat wickers in building. I haven't used them for antennas, but I have found other uses. I use the very end as speedometer and tach needles.
  7. Agreed. Very nice looking springs. The taper looks 'right'.
  8. Very cool! The wood looks great.
  9. Digging it! That’s coming along great.
  10. Looking good, Joe. You laid the clear down beautifully.
  11. That red looks good. I like the sheen on the seats, too.
  12. Nice Merc. Great colour, and nice, smooth paint. Such a classy ride.
  13. Pascal, that was simply outstanding. Your Lotus 43 is beautiful, and I enjoyed the build photos very much. The collection together is stunning. A collection to be proud of. Thanks for posting.
  14. Cool Vette, Dave. It has stood well to the test of time.
  15. Nice looking Goat, John. I like the black paint, and the Hurst wheels go perfectly with it. Well done.
  16. Oh yeah, that’s looking great. Coming along very nicely.
  17. Looking good. Nice work on the scoop.
  18. I've been curious about the Green Stuff since I saw it in the magazine, but have seen no demos on the forum. Very interesting, Raoul. I'd like to learn a little more about this stuff, too.
  19. Great project. Very impressive that you can print your own, credible kit. Cool little subject, too. Everything is looking good. Very interesting, I'm tuning in.

Very cool, Tony. You’ve captured the look perfectly. I love it. They probably moved your post because there are a lot of car guys who seldom visit the si-fi section, but would be very keen to see your cool build. It’s Si-Fi for sure, but it’s also very ‘Car’.
  21. It’s coming along great, Dave. The flares look good.
  22. G2 could also be MPC Ford J Car.
  23. Very nice! Well done conversion. That was a very common combination around here, and I’m sure there are still a couple around. I have picked up the kits to do this same conversion, but I expect years before I get to it. Hope it turns out as nice as yours.
  24. Beautiful Riv. Very fine work, clean detailing. The model had aged well.
