  1. Nice work, and I love DB396! I would probably have just ordered a new body from Tamiya USA. I've generally found that one a pillar bends or breaks, it never works out right in the end.
  2. Very nice!
  3. Cant wait to see more, especially the color.
  4. Also, Acu-stion showed what appeared to be a CAD image of them designing it, but I think it looks more handmade, as most of the lines are uneven.
  5. If you were thinking of getting Acu-stion's resin wing for the new Tamiya NSX, just a word of warning - its pretty crude and inaccurate, and I don't think worth the $15. It is too thick, doesn't have the right profile shape, the edges are too round, and its missing some elements. See attached photos. Here is Acu-stion's response to my concerns: "It has understood. You must correct it. Please make it by yourself. After all, the enjoyment increases because it is a model." While I don't mind doing some scratch building, when I pay $15 for a small part, nearly half the price of the kit, I don't expect to have to correct the part.
  6. I'm in the same boat. Ordered something in December, still waiting. Sent an email this week, but haven't received a reply. My general understanding is that it takes time for resin casters to deliver their products!
  7. I'm happy with the Panamera and DB5 (if this is a new tool). It's nice to see a more mundane car, if you can can a Panamera turbo mundane in the grand scheme of things, produced. I don't want just all supercars to build.
  8. Awesome work.
  9. Awesome set up and can't wait to see more of the FXX K build.
  10. can't wait to see more
  11. Thanks!
  12. Awesome job. That is strange about the emblems, which according to Bob Downie, are stickers not metal transfers. I agree with you that I think Gravity Colors' Novelle Blue is a tad darker than the real color. I saw another NSX on FB painted with GG's color and that was the first thing I noticed. I'm painting mine Valencia Red, partly because GG's color is off, and partly because I'm doing a tribute (but updated) version of my original NSX, which is Formula Red with ivory/black interior.
  13. I've personally ordered Revell parts from Europe through the USA website. About six months ago, I got decals from the Porsche Carrera RS. Takes a little longer, but I got them.
  14. looking good!
  15. Looks great! The finish is so smooth. Very clean build.
  16. Pics of the AMG GT in the link. Pretty simplified engine bay, but not a huge issue for me. It'll build up nicer than whoever built the display model.http://www.revell.de/en/products/mod.../id/07028.html
  17. Beautiful! The silver is a very nice color on this car.
  18. Yay an update! I had decals made for this version, and my supplier had a hard time getting the right color of the stripes, as grays don't print well.
  19. Some pics from Telford show: http://imodeler.com/2016/11/telford-new-kit-releases-from-revell/
  20. Anyone purchase this yet and did Hobby Design include the missing parts of the hybrid system that Tamiya left out? If they didn't include them, seems a bit ridiculous given the price to not improve upon the Tamiya kit. But I wouldn't be surprised. http://www.hobbydesign.com.cn/cpzsdetail/8-84-907.html
  21. I dealt with him through the forum's messaging service. Send him a message (you may have to register if you aren't already a member). If you don't have luck getting in touch with him, I will try for you.
  22. Thanks for posting the pic! Looks like you can do left or right hand versions. My only wish, and a minor one, is that the roof was molded in clear plastic to replicate the panoramic roof. But that's not a big deal.
