  1. Wonder what's under the hood of that Bobcat. 5-lug wheels indicate there have been some modifications.
  2. Then there was Pippa Garner's 59 Chevy....
  3. White 67 Impala 2-door in the local Target parking lot.
  4. Some of the worst plastic I have seen is the root beer brown that one issue of the Revell 56 F100 was molded in. I have one and the cab broke apart in the box between the time I purchased the kit and when I decided to start to work on it.
  5. Pretty sure that will work for 61-66 Thunderbirds. I have an original 63 Thunderbird and the custom parts for it fit well on the "new tool" 62.
  6. By 1975 they would be low-back with a separate headrest.
  7. Giugiaro had nothing to do with the Fiat 124. There is a resemblance to the VW Dasher.
  8. Remember Academy also produced a kit of the Hyundai Stellar. Both the Pony and Stellar were designed by Giugiaro.
  9. On Sunday I saw a really nice 61 Cadillac Coupe deVille. it was stunning.
  10. I purchased the Reliable 70 AMX. It's a pretty good casting. Bumpers are not chromed. It arrived pretty quickly after the auction ended.
  11. If you want more detail, the 66 Nova engine compartment and chassis fit really well. A little work needs to be done on the rear wheel tubs but that's about all.
  12. The latest Aston Martin. It was very blue.
  13. Nothing like hearing it at full cry, echoing off buildings in Long Beach.
  14. All hail Marx and Lennon. And "Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers"
  15. Looks sort of like an Outback.
  16. AREWETHEREYETAREWETHEREYETAREWETHEREYET?????????
  17. Maybe they decided that if Lexus could build cars with "distinctive" styling, so could BMW. Reminds me of this.....
  18. I agree also. Consider that the end of Scale Auto was a surprise to the FSM staff as well. It may take a few issues for FSM to include what, in some folks' opinion, is "enough" model car content.
  19. I guess I misread the post I quoted or meant that response to another post. I apologize for the misunderstanding. I did see some posts somewhere from people who said they had been asked to prepare articles or reviews for FSM. Looks like they will be holding true to their word and including model car content.
  20. I stopped at the local Pep Boys to look for something for my Cougar. On one of the end caps there was a handful of Revell snap kits. There were three 2013-14 Mustang convertibles (the butterscotch-color ones). One was marked at $14.99 so I grabbed it. At checkout the price was $4.99. I grabbed the other two and bought them too.
