Some of the worst plastic I have seen is the root beer brown that one issue of the Revell 56 F100 was molded in. I have one and the cab broke apart in the box between the time I purchased the kit and when I decided to start to work on it.
If you want more detail, the 66 Nova engine compartment and chassis fit really well. A little work needs to be done on the rear wheel tubs but that's about all.
I agree also.
Consider that the end of Scale Auto was a surprise to the FSM staff as well. It may take a few issues for FSM to include what, in some folks' opinion, is "enough" model car content.
I guess I misread the post I quoted or meant that response to another post. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
I did see some posts somewhere from people who said they had been asked to prepare articles or reviews for FSM. Looks like they will be holding true to their word and including model car content.
I stopped at the local Pep Boys to look for something for my Cougar. On one of the end caps there was a handful of Revell snap kits. There were three 2013-14 Mustang convertibles (the butterscotch-color ones). One was marked at $14.99 so I grabbed it. At checkout the price was $4.99. I grabbed the other two and bought them too.
