sfhess replied to Musclecarbuilder's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
It is not a Cologne V6. It's a 90-degree, 3.8 liter V6. First used in the Taurus/Sable -
What would YOU like to see as a model
sfhess replied to JeroenM3's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The "new tool" 60 Starliner roof may be too wide to fit the 61 Galaxie body. I ran into that issue when I tried putting a 60 Starliner roof on a 62 Mercury convertible. I ended up using the roof from an original 61 Starliner body that had been hacked up by a previous owner. -
Cool! Is that a Ferrari 612 in the background?

Jay Leno's 300SL Gullwing
sfhess replied to Phildaupho's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I love the fact that Jay has not cosmetically restored the car, leaving the candy apple red paint as he found it. -

Rangers never had the 3.8/4.2 V6 as used in the Mustangs of that era. -

The MPC 74 Barracuda has been reissued several times and the grille is the same. Taillights too I would imagine.

I did exactly that. I had a 79 Pace Car Replica with a really tired 4-cylinder Turbo and 4-speed. It received a 92 GT drivetrain with a T-5. It was a lot of fun to drive. The swap was surprisingly simple.
