It's the new Revell'32 Ford 5 window coupe, Russ. More progress today - body and radiator are mounted. Headlights & bar complete and mounted. Hooked up the coil.

Doesn't do much for me. Whatever happened to the proposal about a tutorial section? I'd rather see that feature added.

I make use of clothes pins (wood and plastic) to clamp pieces together when glueing.

No new pics, but got the glass installed in the body and the body glued down to chassis. Hopefully it'll be under glass next week.

I like the lapel pin idea. Maybe Gregg could get them chrome plated with a water based chroming system that we have heard nothing about.

I've got 3 builds going right now - Deuce coupe, '65 Riviera, and '62 Catalina. I need to clear my big bench for a couple of stained glass dream catchers a customer wants. I need to clean the main shop area because earlier this morning the guy arrived from Texas to pay the balance and drag home my dune buggy. I guess I'll have to change my avatar now. Just got done cutting the grass and need a shower - then out to the shop to work on the coupe and maybe get the basecoat on the Riv or Catalina. Have a great day everyone!

Yeah. I used the optional custom interior from the kit. It would have been nice if the dashboard had better engraving, or maybe I should have cut it out and done something else - next time.

I have no plans on going anywhere. This place is fun, even when the negative, childish stuff gets started.

I'm planning on smooth and low. That's the kit shifter, but it does look big in the pic doesn't it? Maybe I'll switch it out.

Hi Nick. It's HOK Candy Apple Red pearl over gold basecoat. No clear - I just polished wiht Novus #2 and then Model Car Wax.

I wanted to try something different and after hearing from some fellow MCM people, figured out a custom rearend. I tried to make the seats look like leather by painting them with Testor's Leather and then put a coat of brown wash over that. Final color will be HOK Root Beer pearl. This is my first shot at seatbelts. Sorry about the water drops. I had just finished some sanding.

I been working on this puppy for a while. I'm planning to shoot it with HOK purple pearl.

Painted it once and had to go into the purple pond, but it's painted for real now. The trunk will be flocked to match the interior.
